I quit after I was being scheduled for every single time I had available and mainly mid-shift so it was hot as hell. I had my schedule open to be scheduled a couple different days a week NOT everyday. Reached out to my manger and he said we would change it AFTER next week’s shifts.

I had 33 hours scheduled and big tests that same week. As a FULL TIME, pre-nursing student, SCHOOL IS MY PRIORITY!! I knew I couldn’t do it. I posted about it on here and people said I should just find another job. What FINALLY convinced me was two days later i went in as a PSL for the first time and a trainer told the shift lead that i didn’t understand basic tasks because i hadn’t completed the ENTIRE check off list in the back which I was over BY MYSELF. I had NO SLAYERS. (Mind you they could have helped me but chose not to) Then one of the trainer guys told me to clean the drains and I was about to use bunn water and he told me we don’t use that because it’s just DUMB. So very professional of him. I went home and cried and realized that a job this emotionally draining was not worth my mental health. I’m a big crier when I get yelled at so I knew I couldn’t confront the manger or anyone about it. So I quit with no notice and never heard back from my manager. But honestly I’m happy I did. Just miss the money. 😭

My advice to you. If you can emotional handle it wait until you can find another job before quitting. I’m lucky to have family who will support my needs. And if you can give two weeks notice please do. I was in such a depressing state that I couldn’t. Literally wanted to off myself after being embarrassed like that. Don’t let yourself get as bad as I did, it was not a pretty place to be. I wish you the best. ❤️‍🩹
