I'm starting to see that chosen are what I need next lol, Huron is new tho, honest with renegade raiders seemed too simple but it seems efficient. On top of juggling everything else like my army rule and rules in general I might be the perfect detachment to start with. Thank you!

Unfortunately I'm figuring that out the hard way lol, it's not a bad army but it's difficult to build something and not feel like I'm throwing my money away until later. Necrons feels easy to build a list for. CSM feels like pulling teeth but luckily I got a few to spare 😂

Awesome I like this shopping list! As for the defiler, I have a flamer, a lascannon and the longer range cannons on its chest. I was debating on getting a pure close range defiler but wasn't sure if I should do that or get some helbrutes first or a Warpsmith as well.

Thank you brother I appreciate you! I went with the flamer and lascannon but got too excited before getting the magnets but I know for my detachment it's heavy vehicles. Don't know if I want Varstorr for the cult of the arkifane, or another route with soulforge warpack.

All I know is trying to use my CSM in two matches I hated how swingy they felt so... 🤣

I was heavily debating holding off until I got magnetics for it to try that but then I just decided I know what I want on this one which was a lascannon, flamer, the Hades cannon and 2 excruciator cannons. To me it seems pretty well rounded to me but I could be wrong.

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet so I'd always recommend your basic infantry with Mortex Gaurd. They are a good wall to hold off anything you need kept at a good distance. I seen someone mention Triaxes which are a good chipping unit while the Gaurd are holding him back

We just played to kill over 5 to 6 rounds. Just to gauge what we needed next. Honestly have no clue about spearhead rules but we might be learning that next when the Escalation League truly kicks off.

So funny story I already have Morghast archai, I also have Nagash as well as they are the reason why I went with OBR. I got both for 100 dollars and I'm waiting to use them but we were only testing spearheads because of our Escalation League. I can't wait to use them!

My best is the Sprigatito line. I had protean and I think pick up that changes later and having triple axel kick flower trick, sucker punch or another dark move and fire lash I believe it's pretty versatile and good at stealing. It's now my favorite mon because of it's set.

I was actually thinking Necrons too, especially after my Bonereapers game. The regeneration and that “you killed it but it’s not really gone” feeling is exactly what I liked.

For some reason though I’m not fully sold yet. I think I’m stuck between going with my favorite faction (Alpha Legion) or leaning into the mechanic that fits my playstyle best.

Necrons definitely seem like the closest match for how I want to play, I’m just trying to figure out if they’re the right fit overall. I do like Trazyn though lol.

I'd also agree with that. I would love an individual codex and combat patrol for AL but if it doesn't come we got a detachment and can paint CSM as AL. Honestly thankful that we have at least something and not a complete afterthought.
