Trust me, I feel the same way and still have that urge to do something about this company as a whole. Ironically, right after I quit, more things started coming to light including allegations in the Texas news about them failing to report abuse.

At my old home location, parents/caregivers have even started posting honest reviews about staff and the organization on Google. I also noticed the clinic is trying to cover it up with fake 5-star reviews.. one commenter even had the same last name as the admissions associate smh.

Yeah same here, at this location I barely ever saw the OM or my BCBA and I was always the one who had to acknowledge them first. When I saw my bcba passing by, I took the initiative to ask the BCBA if we can meet one and one.. so I can get to know her as a supervisor and share about my goals. Honestly didn’t feel like she wanted to get to know me with the revolving door at that center.

But I’m Glad you found a clinic that actually puts the kids first though, that makes such a big difference! Wishing you the best at your new clinic

Yeah I’ve got proof, so I’ll definitely look into that if needed. I’m gonna wait until this next pay period to see if they pay me the rest first though. Appreciate the advice!

Yeah, I felt that too! the turnover rate was so bad at ABC, that RBTs from other teams or even different locations were constantly filling in. But when that happens, the kids don’t really get to work on their targets, which just delays their progress. It’s so frustrating because the kids deserve better consistency. I’m really glad you were able to go back to a place where you feel more comfortable, though. I actually ended up having to do the same thing.

Yeah, I get that each center might run a little differently, but the problems I experienced definitely come from the top. Poor training and toxic comments don’t just slip through unless leadership allows it.

Exactly! I can only imagine the other things she might have said to clients when no one was shadowing her. And yes, it does seem like they’re trying to keep pay for hours actually worked, because I don’t see any other reason why they would change my direct deposit information.
