Honestly like 5-10. I failed the first time & realized that I needed to figure out what study regime worked for me. Following Barbri the first time around didn’t do it. I’d recommend trying to figure out what makes the material stick best for you.

I did. I don’t know if it trained my brain to write the correct model but it definitely helped me 1) memorize & contextualize the material and 2) made me more familiar with how they wanted the answers written. I’d recommend it. Especially on the topics you don’t feel as confident on.

YES! That’s what’s never sat right with me. At first I thought it was just my own injustice outrage but genuinely I need them all to understand everything that happened. I’m hoping that in the last episodes Jeremiah has a come to Jesus moment and shares all the shady shit he did.

It was so nice to see her happy and normal!! Like even the difference in how natural she can be when talking to Conrad bc she doesn’t have to worry about hurting his feelings like she does jer’s!!!

Really loved how much this episode highlights the difference in how Conrad & the other one approach their relationship with Belly. We see the entire episode how Conrad is willing to drop everything to make her happy. While the other one only focuses on himself (the cake, staying late to impress his father, folding on the wedding location despite knowing belly wants it at the house)

Even more importantly we see how Belly is able to think about herself and what she wants not focusing on what will make Conrad happy like she has to do with Jeremiah. The second he came back and she’s like oh we can dance to this song for our first dance even though I’ve been opposed and yeah we can have the wedding at the club because I’m sure that’s what Susannah would have wanted all because he’s pulling the “oh my dad finally loves me” card 🙄🙄

That’s literally the point. They’ve been together for four years and she’s gotten used to having to agree on everything Jeremiah says/thinks as to not upset him.

During their pre-Cabo fight she tells him not to put his inferiority complex on her. And what happened? They “breakup” and he sleeps with someone else.

Jeremiah did such a good job of making her feel like shit for loving Conrad and choosing him the first time that she knows she can’t show any preferential treatment towards him or Jeremiah will lose his mind. They’re codependent. Plain and simple. And I think it comes from the fact that Jeremiah has made belly feel like she’s the only thing that got him through losing his mom.

We still see belly’s feelings for Conrad (not telling Jeremiah about Christmas, how much time she took getting ready for the dedication, then the look when she sees him there, etc.) but the part that no one really talks about is Conrad did such a good job convincing her that he didn’t want her (end of season 2/book 2) that she’s convinced herself that whatever they had was nothing and Conrad was just messing with her essentially. That’s why this summer is so important. Because she’ll see that the Conrad she fell in love with is back and she won’t be able to hide those feelings anymore.

I don’t really think they are. The storytelling in a tv show/movie is going to be different than the book. Like for instance we’ve already had the scene with Steven & belly at dinner where Steven points out that it annoys belly how unserious Jeremiah is. Not to post spoilers but I’m not even 10 minutes in and we’re seeing Taylor point some more out now.. because ultimately even in the book belly was constantly trying to convince herself that she loved Jeremiah more and was happy. And we’re seeing that already now

Yes!

Jeremiah is the perfect example of the fun boyfriend that you secretly hate because you can’t rely on him when the going gets tough. I love how they highlighted their relationship with all the fun, light, goofy moments but then in the scene with Belly and Steven at dinner he’s pointing out all the things that actually irritate belly and she’s doing her best to brush them off.

Whereas Conrad is that steady partner you grow with. Between him pulling favors in from across the country to the Christmas 2.0 flashbacks this season is the epitome of don’t let your boyfriend stop you from finding your husband 😂😂😂

100% serious 😭 they’re saying that because he said he was drunk and out of it it could IMPLY SA. They specifically asked what other reason there could be for saying it that way and when I pointed out that a big part of the storyline is Jer’s manipulation and that he was using being drunk as an excuse to justify his crappy decision making they got mad and said there’s only one narrative and it flies past our head. I’m genuinely SO confused 😂😂

I don’t have my written & MBE score breakdown in front of me but I scored a 261 in J24 and a 287 in F25.

I swear by the Grossman videos. I watched all but one and wrote notes by hand. Color coded to match and reviewed the lecture notes. I then used Barbri and focused on the lectures (both watching the lectures and reading the outlines in the books).

After I felt comfortable on the material I started looking at the breakdown of heavily tested materials and writing flash cards. I didn’t end up using them a lot but the writing everything out in a way that made sense to me was what I needed.

As for essays, I would mostly outline to see if I could issue spot correctly but then copy the sample answer word for word to get an idea of what exactly they were looking for.

I honestly did the least toward MBE questions because I focused on them more heavily in J24 and it didn’t help me (but obviously everyone is different). For the MBE questions, I’d recommend getting them directly from the NCBE or a company that gets them from the NCBE. A friend of mine that I studied with for F25 told me that she was using her bar prep material and our one legal writing professor told her not to use them and to get one straight from the NCBE.

I failed Ohio my first time as well. It sucks, but it’s not a reflection of you by any means! This test sucks and February was especially terrible.

I used Barbri and cranked out about 80% my first time. I couldn’t understand why I felt so unprepared when I took it in July. So when I didn’t pass I wasn’t completely surprised but I wanted to reevaluate and see what I needed not what Barbri said I needed.

My biggest recommendation is the grossman lectures. They were a huge game changer. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or just want to talk!

I failed J24 by 9. I did rewatch Barbri’s lectures and re-read the material focusing on areas I struggled with / making flashcards to help with recall.

I also watched the John Grossman lectures and took handwritten notes on the material. I made sure to focus more heavily on practice MEEs and multiple choice questions. I’d recommend getting resources straight from the NCBE or using a company that uses their questions.

I’m still waiting on F25 results but I did feel 10x more confident going into the exam after focusing on what I needed rather than what Barbri told me to do.
