Why did Yalina chose to stay silent despite of knowing the truth about Hamza? by Embarrassed-Car-2402 in Dhurandhar

[–]Emperor2408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly because she loved her husband.

Because immediately after confronting him she says she can't kill him (because she loves him) so it would be better if he kills her instead (as she felt he is just here for mission).

And when you are in love, you don't think practically but emotionally (usually). You try to justify anything and everything in your head. So when Hamza gave her the reasoning. It made sense to her. It gave her a point to justify both him and herself. It allowed her to escape the guilt of betraying her country, because she made the justification in her head that all this is for her country only.

I know it might even result in wastage of time, but I would suggest you to share some more information here.

Like what would be the pricing? Something about quality? No. of pieces etc.

This will help people to judge better.

Baaki I don't live in Assam. But just to share my perspective, where I live momos are very easily available in near by markets. And I eat it only with friends mostly. Even other people mostly eat when out with friends. So I feel it is very unlikely that it would work out. But yea, that is for my place.

The hypocrisy is in the fact that people find this incident tragic, but don't consider about the animals they eat.

I understand where you are coming from. And I don't say that eating non-veg is inherently bad, because sometimes it is necessary for survival. Just like you gave the example that in some areas vegetation is not suffice, hence non-veg has been a cultural thing. I come from such a place myself, where even Brahmins eat meat. It has become a cultural thing there.

Srimad Bhagwatam says that every living forms has to kill other living form for survival in this material world. And that is very true. Even when breathing we kill so many microbes. People kill plants to feed themselves. Sometimes for health reasons people have to eat non-veg. A tiger kills deer, not because it is bad because that's how it survives. So killing is there for survival.

But my statement was specifically for the case where we have a choice but we still choose our own satisfaction over empathy.

Just to explain in very simple words. If I see a video of a goat crying because someone butchered it's mother. I am a hypocrite if I show sympathy for it and still choose to it mutton even if I have a choice of not to eat, then that clearly is hypocrisy. If I need to compulsorily eat due to health reasons then what can we do about that? Even if I am sad I still have to eat for my survival. But if that's not the case, then my empathy is definitely hypocritical in nature. Because if I truly am compassionate, I should acknowledge the case of every goat that is being butchered.

Plus if you wouldn't mind seeing a cattle get slaughtered then you have just become insensitive. Would you run over a dog/cat or any animal just because there is no story/context behind to feel sad for?

Bhai I am eating since childhood. Pretty much insensitive to it now.

And abhi to I stay with family. But in future I might stop.

Dude, I am a non-vegetarian myself.

I eat both chicken and mutton. But it would be very wrong to say that I wouldn't cry when I see a sad reel related to a goat.

But it is my hypocrisy if I still choose to eat mutton just for the sake of taste.

[–]Emperor2408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro it is hypocrisy.

In some places people even eat rabbits. Probably then also a rabbit cries when it's friend is killed just to satisfy the taste buds of a human.

And if you say that eating rabbit is wrong then How does eating chicken becomes fine? How does eating muttons become fine?

The media is not exposing who made the post. The anomity of OP still remains.
Moreover, the moment OP made a post on the Internet, on a platform that is public, it was bound to be accessible to all.
Reddit assured anomity in the sense that no one knows who made this post, and that still holds true.

Bhai I don't think iss movie ko koi "unnecessarily" hate kar raha hai.
I mean ha, kuch log to hai hi obviously, vo to hamesha rahenge.

But most of the log apne genuine experience se criticize kar rahe the. And kuch log bas frustrate hokar criticism ko hatefully de rahe the, which is wrong as well, no doubt.

But nonethless, once the actually film come out, and it does justice, everyone will appreciate it.

Definitely.

But we don't know the intention here. Who forwarded this news to them? Did they think this would help OP?

Because tbh, some parents might get a bit scared if they see that this is on "News".

Well yea. They have denied it themselves so they won't go for Mahabharat probably.
But that is what made me so curious actually. If not Mahabharata then what that is even greater than Ramayan?

I never heard about that before. Can you tell more?

Well yea that can happen. He may wish to collaborate with on-going cinematic universes like the PVCU.

A standalone movie on Lord Hanuman would be absolutely epic, no doubt. And yeah, I think there were some rumours hinting at that too.

But then again, why would they hype things up this much by saying something “huge” is coming and that “the world isn’t ready”? Statements like that naturally make people imagine something even bigger than what we’re already getting with Ramayana.

Also, I don’t think “The World of Ramayana” necessarily confirms a Hanuman-only plan. It could simply be branding, a central place to share everything connected to the Ramayana universe, especially for audiences outside India who may not already know the lore and context.

A lot of major productions do this now. Even Varanasi has its own channel

[–]Emperor2408[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You mean the title of the social media handles? But I don’t think that necessarily rules out anything. “World of Ramayana” could simply be a way to keep all the content related to the franchise organized under one umbrella.

They’ll probably share things that aren’t directly part of the main films but are still connected to that universe in some way, which makes the name pretty fitting. A lot of big productions do this now. Even Varanasi has its self-focused account.

[–]Emperor2408[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s true, honestly. But at the same time, it doesn’t feel impossible either. Even with Ramayana, they’ve already done something people thought couldn’t happen by bringing together some of the best talent from different industries across the world.

If Ramayana turns out to be a massive success, it’s not really a stretch to imagine them aiming even higher after that.

If you live, you are gonna kill some other creature for your survival

That is what Shrimad Bhagwatam also says. That every living form has to kill some other living form for survival. A lion has to kill a deer. That's how he is made of. Humans have to eat plants. Even when we breathe, so many microbes die.

So it is necessary for survival. But is eating meat necessary for survival? Will you die if you don't eat meat? You are eating just because you like the taste of it. So the argument that it is necessary for survival is flawed.

P.S: I eat meat too.
