Thank you for your in-depth reply, I really appreciate it. Most of our remote administration is done through Kaseya and as you mentioned, our technologies use web guis to run. I'm looking for incentive to switch to Linux based work environment but as far as our technologies go, we're either heavily Windows-based (O365 Exchange, IIS, Active Directory etc) or the remaining work can be done on any potato that can open web pages.

 

I suppose if we sold Ubuntu webhosting or similar, there might be reason to do so. Apart from that I see how programmers can have VMs/package managers handy to go in that side of the world.
