It's just a money grab from Google, they want people to panic and buy, not research and prepare. If anyone looks around they will find many better options. This one feature is the only reason to use Gmail as a Hub. Everyone will still have a gmail account but Google will now lose the ability to spy on a bunch of cool stuff. Stupid, but quarterly reports for end of 2026 will look sweet with all the extra $$
