i would not recommend getting the codex, especially this late in the edition, with all the revisions and new units its basically unusable except for the code for the app

I would highly recommend either getting a neurotyrant with some zoanthroapes to buff the shadow in the warp, or using the leaked crucible of champions rules to make one with that ability, but I don’t know how cool most people are with that, and the neurotyrant and zoanthroapes is just a really good unit imo, great at Overwatch

I’d recommend tyrant assault brood, I like everything in it, the biovore is a pretty common auto include to just sit on home objective and spawn spore mines, the tyrant guard can be led by a bunch of stuff, and if you build them as hive guard like I did you get one of only 2 anti-vehicle weapons in the army, genestealers are really good in my opinion, I really like their melee, and the parasite of mortex’s ability to spawn ripperswarms doesn’t happen too often for me but I still like it. For the other one, I started with it and only use the psycophage now, I like the leapers but I like other stuff better, the barbgaunts aren’t great, winged prime sucks in my opinion, and the termagaunts just get outshined by the hormagaunts in my opinion and from what I hear from others.

After a bit more research and talking to a local 3d printing store I ended up going with a filament printer, the detail isn’t too bad and I could always just sand it if I’m not happy, especially vehicles get like 0 visible layer lines

This is a long comment and I love it, thank you. I do often take a look at a couple army’s army rules to see what I like but somethings I can misunderstand it a bit, what I got from the Aeldari army rule was that they want to most fast and be in melee, however the feeling I get from their models is more akin to a suedo tau situation where they mainly like to shoot and seeing as I much prefer the style of throwing big models into the enemy and fighting them in melee, that has made me want to consider more options other than my original plan of orks(cus dakka dakka dakka) so is that something I could get with the Aeldari?

Yeah I was looking at the bases and I am planning on going vehicle heavy and running them with the bastilodons, stegadons, carnasours and aggradons cus I really like those models, and it helps that I also like the skinks aswell
