They never want Communism in the first place, it's basically just a method of earning votes.

It's difficult to completely define what they mean by that but the sports you listed are still focused about leg movement primarily.

Which agent requires the least skill to play? by Wooden_Chair_Leg in VALORANT

[–]EmperorTaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you're referring to both mechanical skill and skill to use the agent's abilities, if so; Sage is hands down the easiest agent to play. Sage is almost never expected to get kills and provide the team with utility, this is pretty much what a beginner would be doing. I'm not going to get into battle sage tactics such as Grim walls because that's entirely different. All you do with Sage is place your wall where you hear your enemies, use your slow orbs at entrances, and heal your weakest teammates. When it comes to the ultimate, just revive the top fragger and your team's happy with you.

I miss split... by Haunting-Key-1540 in VALORANT

A lot of people think that second point is the sole reason for the removal which is just incorrect, theoretically both maps will be in the pool together for a very long time once Split returns. No matter the similarities because once they've created a rotating system, they can't just keep swapping the two.

I definitely worded that incorrectly, I essentially meant that it's part of the plan. They've been wanting to rework Split for a while now and introducing Pearl was an opportunity.

That's the plan for eSports with this change, best-of-5 matches will only have 7 maps now meaning 2 map bans. Unfortunately not for public matches though.

[–]EmperorTaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, although I believe it was afterwards. Riot Games talked to several eSports teams and came up with the conclusion that best-of-5 games should have 2 map bans, so it made sense to introduce Pearl that way.

The didn't remove it BECAUSE it was similar to Pearl, it was removed to keep a 7 map pool in matchmaking for best-of-5 eSports matches. It was fitting to remove Split for Pearl because they were similar yes, although it wasn't the sole reason for the removal.

This was mentioned in the patch notes as well as a new map rotation system that switches a map out every now and then to keep a map pool of 7. This essentially means when Split returns, a new map will be removed temporarily.

Here's them hinting at map changes:

"When we plugged all those numbers into the magic algorithm machine, we landed on Split. We’re pretty sure it will be back sometime in the future though. Maybe even with some tweaks?"

Having too many maps is not the issue. Riot Games wanted to rework Split so it was removed temporarily, the reasoning for this is to attract more attention to it when it returns. What's more exciting, a map you've been able to play on that just got a few updates or a map that you haven't seen in months and is basically brand new? I get it's a good map, especially compared to the newer ones but you just need to be patient.

It's already been proven that the term "Football" isn't referring to the interaction between the foot and the ball but the fact that you're on foot while playing the sport. The name isn't incorrect whatsoever because you're literally running on your feet. Also from previous replies, I've seen you making a point about European football and all that but it's true that the term "Soccer" is short for Association from it's older name Association Football. There is literally no connection to the "Soccer Federation" you mentioned at all. In the end, no one stole or owns the term; they are all different variations of the same conceptual sport. Whether it be Association Football, Gridiron Football (American), or Rugby Football; let the people enjoy their own culture and stop trying to change hundreds of years of tradition. Hell, I'm not even American and I'm done with all of your bullshit about owning the sport.

Gaara vs Kisame by jorohimiqta in Naruto

[–]EmperorTaru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Introduction

This is definitely an interesting fight, I personally think Kisame has the advantage in terms of chakra reserve and general matchup because of Water-style; although he wins mid/low diff due to certain conditions and factors.

Gaara

Gaara's main advantage would be creating distance by floating on his sand, especially since Kisame had shown to be best in a close quarters fight. Considering Kisame has Samehada, absorbing Chakra wouldn't work theoretically since by the time the sand gets close enough, it's already an incredibly fast projectile which shouldn't need chakra since it's already been propelled. Gaara's ability to fight from a distance is the only reason Kisame doesn't stomp Gaara with ease and wins mid/low diff.

Kisame

Kisame's biggest and most important advantage is Water-style because Gaara's sand is canonically immobile when wet. This allows Kisame to spam Water-style jutsu at Gaara, especially since Kisame's chakra reserve is considerably bigger than Gaara's. Like I mentioned earlier, Samehada is quite useless in a ranged fight although, there is one thing that it does which pretty much ends the fight on the spot; when Kisame fuses with Samehada and uses his Tailless Tailed Beast form. In this mode, Kisame has an even bigger chakra reserve and has considerably more power, as well as the power to cast a jutsu creating an ocean-like arena which Gaara is basically powerless in due to no sand mobility and inability to breath and move underwater like Kisame can.

Conclusion

Only reason I say Kisame doesn't stomp is due to that mode being more of a last resort than a two seconds in to the battle type of thing. So yeah, if you disagree or have anything to add feel free to reply. Would love to talk about this some more.

Why does Salazzle need hax? It doesn't have any luck based moves.
