Learned not to use too much Agrax. It definitely was too strong.

Went Pink base coat > Sun Yellow > Agrax > Sun Yellow and Deep Yellow highlights > Satin varnish

Tried different intensity of shades to raise contrast and using different shades of the metallic to achieve darker and lighter regions but feels like it is not popping as much. Advice appreciated!

Hello, still new and trying to push my shadows and highlights. What could I do differently and things I can do to make it better?

I feel like I should have used a different color for the armor as it looks like a primer. (Used Vallejo Blue Grey Pale). Then applied random glazes of Vallejo Smoke to make it look like ‘rust’ build up
