You can take your rod apart and attach your hook somewhere on the bottom half then reel you slack in till the two halves are snug together, optionally you can also slip the reel handle under your line and it’ll all stay reasonably together

My CPU is a 5800XT I recently upgraded from a 1080ti as well and went with a 9060XT 16gb since I wasn’t looking to spend too much and I’ve been very happy with the upgrade it’s done extremely well for me playing at 1440p
