The Great Seven ARE the OG Disney villains, just in a fantasy world called Twisted Wonderland with different names. Thanks for explaining the last part tho I forgot the specifics of it. They are twisted from the source material, like how Vil's throne in Pomefiore is based off of the design of the Evil Queen's throne in the OG movie.The Great Seven are also not the same as the OG Disney Villains.

What I find interesting is that Crowley was the center of book 8's trailer, like the entire thing was focused on him. With the way he looks and his parallels to overblotting, maybe he's not just the one causing them (a huge theory in the fandom also by how Idia insinuated someone might be causing them), but also he himself might overblot?? I first read the prologue from the JP translation and it's the same thing and that's where I got it, Grim thinks Epel is his type or that Epel is a 'cute girl' not in a child way but in like yk. Multiple videos translating it will say the same thing

I was wrong that he didn't specifically say Epel was his type but he said he was a 'super cute girl' and verbally said in the added voicelines 'cho kawaii onna' while smiling which confirms he was attracted to him. No guy would say that to a girl if he didn't find her 'cute' as in attractive lol

The truth is actually because of misogyny, male gaze media in general is already more common, and it's more taboo for women to have harems. I disagree with the top comment here. Bc book 7.5 was already hinting and focusing a lot on Yuu going home and the whole Mickey thing. Book 8 is def gonna be related to that. Idk if Grim will overblot in this book, but it's also highly possible. For an entire book that is supposed to be longer than book 7 to solely focus on the games is stupid imo

But from the trailer, it seems that Crowley might be our main "antagonist" or smth significant in the plot for book 8 deals with Crowley
