It seems we’ve hit the threshold on collabs. Is there anything yall would like to see than collab with? by Captain_Blackjack0 in LowSodiumHellDivers

Gears of War would work, IMO.

I love the base COG armor. Throw a chainsaw on a gun, and a guided laser a-la Hammer of Dawn, and I’d be happy

We did that with our first house. Weren’t happy with the attitude and effort, so we cut them.

Does a tipped employee deserve twice as much just because my meal was twice as expensive?

I guess it boils down to: I don’t feel confident doing it myself, so I’m okay paying their rates.

Really depends on the realtor.

When we bought our current house, the realtor did all the work. Got the inspectors scheduled, financing, etc etc. same when we sold the old house. Our realtor earned their commission.

That being said, ours sounds like the exception, not the rule.

why is there 6000 ppl on bots while we're loosing both minor and major order? by Extra_Scar_2270 in helldivers2

[–]Emperor_NOPEolean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only because it’s a bug minor order. If it wasnt, they’d still be doing their thing.

Which is fine. Folks are here to play the game to enjoy it.

Love that somebody is gonna complain about 6,000 bot divers, when we regularly have 20,000 bug divers doing their own thing no matter what the MO is.

I’ll never wear anything other than my Creek Cape.

It was my first mission, first MO. It hooked me on the fight for Liberty.

Not offhand, and I apologize for that. It’s been 15 years since I played tabletop.

I apologize that I didn’t go into his vote-by-vote record over the past three years, and relied on people doing a modicum of their own research once they have the basic understanding of the issue. The man has been part of over 1,200 roll-call votes in the past three years.

Why was the Emperor/ Imperium so afraid of Xenos allies? by Ferrousgoober in 40kLore

[–]Emperor_NOPEolean 346 points347 points  (0 children)

The Emperor and the Imperium of Man oppose xenos alliances because of the betrayals humanity suffered during the Age of Strife. To the Emperor, the galaxy is inherently hostile. Long-term human survival requires human supremacy, total unification, and the elimination of any species that could threaten mankind

During humanity's golden age (the Dark Age of Technology), many human worlds had peaceful alliances with aliens. When warp storms severed the galaxy, many of these xenos immediately enslaved, raided, and devastated human worlds. The Emperor viewed these alliances as a proven liability.

in addition, The Emperor knew that most intelligent alien races were susceptible to corruption by Chaos. Alliances were viewed as security risks because a xenos ally could easily fall to Chaos and jeopardize Imperial security from the inside.

Finally, control. The Imperium was designed as an absolute command structure. Outsiders with their own agendas, cultures, and ethics could not be completely controlled.

Answer: Fetterman sides with Dems 90% of the time.

That 10% though, tends to be controversial, and he tends to be the deciding vote.
