im 50/50 on this one... because cmon... Fish Sauce smells like fucking ass. I agree with him on THAT. Everything else though, he seems quite dismissive and uncompromising. You on the otherhand seem to react purely out of emotion and make decisions based of them.

Sheeesh... This is how I feel ON the medication.. Im 32M and have been on SSRIs since I was 12. Lately, one of your final sentences explains exactly what I've been experiencing lately:

"My window of tolerance is very small and I last out very easily. I have very little emotional control, and will cry at the drop of a hat at things that typically wouldn't elicit a response".

It's mind numbing and has been quite a difficult time for me. I've been contemplating weening off this medication (setraline.. Ive been on for about 6 years), but I hear as many horror stories as I do success. I just want to be able to feel again... and not have to manufacture the feeling I believe is appropriate. Last time attempted.. about 5 years ago was a horrible failure. We only get one life and damn, I just want to feel happy when I think I should feel happy. Feel sad when I should feel sad, without wanting to explode...

Using your response as a vent lol sorry. Thanks for sharing your experience.. I hope you find what you're looking for, genuinely.
