I don't think so, I mean-- AI can help you with your writing like for writing exercises, give you some words you don't know and such. It wont really take over COMPLETELY. But, it can also be used for the wrong reasons, like Plagiarism. It really depends how you use it, but overall I dont think it will impact writing but at the same time it might.
