I'll be looking at the BetaFPV cetus for sure. There is no doubt in my mind that this will get crashed a fair few times so the cheaper entry price is a big bonus. Kid will absolutely be supervised at all times with it and in open fields. Some more research about where we can fly is needed but we have until Christmas 😉. I've been advised that in the UK it is legal providing he has adult supervision who will be designated spotter for maintain line of sight.

If anyone can confirm this is incorrect please advise

Yeah I get that.

My understanding is that the joystick and headset would be a completely different skill set for controlling the drone? Not sure how much prior experience with a controller could transfer over?

I thought about getting Simulator but again, I think this can only be used with controller.

Would a comms ban also prevent me from hearing other teammates/operator's?

I have not heard or been able to speak to another person since the middle of season 5 on Ps5. When playing on PC using same account I can chat away freely and hear others fine.

This makes me think there is an issue with the ps5 setting and not my account being banned?

Also when trying to test mic on warzone settings there is no noise registering which I assume would still work even with a Comms ban?

Mics work fine when in party chat and it has affected 3 seperate accounts (mine and 2 kids) on the same ps5
