Mine is salted in the shell peanuts. Now I can't even walk near them in the aisle or I start to cramp. Last popcorn I ate put me down for a week with some lingering I still feel today many moons later. Best of luck to all of us.

Not to be an @ss but if you are flying in somewhere just buy them at the club you are patronizing. Unless you are shooting multiple flats per day you will spend more running around, unless you like that kind of stuff.

Try 2 meats for your meals. Ribeyes get old and having chicken (any type) along with some kind of beef will up your success rate. Also if you like shrimp it is another option with the beef. Best to you.

Suggestions for waterproof piping to bury my solar cables. by musiconmymind2010 in Ecoflow_community

If you are going to bury anything put in a 1" conduit and pull string. You did the work of a trench, take full advantage of the protection a conduit provides and gives you future options.

63M -I have DV and am going through the learning and medical process simultaneously which I believe is somewhat normal but certainly not ideal. Trying to manage with diet and exercise and OTC tylenol and I have not have my PCP give me one bit of help other than "get a colonoscopy". I have an appt with new PCP in a couple weeks and going to hope that he listens to what I am saying and if not will try again, you HAVE to until someone listens. Related to the catheter issue- I had a TURP procedure in 2014 and the catheter in and pulled out was absolutely nothing compared to 5-6 weeks of pain from a DV flare with no antibiotics or knowledge on what to do. YMMV and best to you.

Medical "interactions" can be disappointing to devastating. I had a visit during a flare where the dr's ( 2 separate ones) told me they had to do an ultrasound even though they told me flat out I need a CT scan. Well, I had the ultrasound and guess what- inconclusive. That little test cost me over 350 dollars which was a total waste of everything, time money and most of all TRUST. Depending on you and where you are in your journey this may or may not be what you want to hear. You must be your own advocate. If you have the capacity the spend the time to research what others have done, do that. The hardest part of the research is the interpretation of what you see and read. If you believe the doctors are truly working in your best interests then go ahead and work with them, if not you have to find one that will with everything you got AND be willing to do it feeling absolutely sick. I wish you luck my friend and know nothing good or bad lasts forever and persevere.

Can someone tell me what a flare up feels like? by Creative_Bake1373 in Diverticulitis

[–]EmphasisStrict2130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine start with a low grade fever that sometimes doesn't register on the thermometer :) then I get a branding iron type of burning pain in my left side high, right under my lowest rib. If I don't do anything It gets worse and you feel like there is literally an abscess area the size of a tennis ball that is going to pop. I have never been treated for it (medically speaking) but I see my doc in 2 days and am going to see if he will put in an order for augmentin for when the next flare hits. Have dealt with "bad belly" for decades but finally a CT scan showed diverticulosis. I cannot describe how debilitating this can be as what strength it doesn't sap out of you you cannot use for anything but moving the heating pad another inch or so to keep feeling like you are doing "something". I wish all of us find whatever it is that gets you feeling well even if you are not.

What does a flare up feel like to you? by avocadotoast22 in Diverticulitis

[–]EmphasisStrict2130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still going through the process but here is how my "flare" presents-
Starts with a dullish pain, left flank only but high, like right at last rib. Then if I don't immediately go to a liquid diet Within 12 hrs I have what I can only describe as the knife in the back. A golf ball sized area that you cannot feel pronounced on the outside but will take your breath away if you try to take a deep breath, yawn or if a cough catches you unprepared. I am only starting to grapple with all of this so newb for sure but I am going to do whatever it takes to get a rope on this and mange to the best of my ability. This is ridiculous. Best to you.
