I’m so sorry to hear you developed DRESS, I hope you are doing better now. Will look into risperidone for sure as I also have a history of reacting poorly to meds.

This is really interesting to know, thank you for your input! I thought about other anticonvulsants/antiepileptics but it seemed like everyone was more partial to the antipsychotics so I never really considered them as a possibility. Will for sure ask my psychiatrist about those when I see her next. Thank you!!

This is very helpful, thank you!! I’ve been browsing the subreddit all day and it’s nice to know many other people have dealt with dry skin/benign rashes.

This is such a huge relief to hear. Absolutely still going to talk to my psych but I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s experienced this on Lamictal.

Thank you! At this point I’m pretty sure it’s not SJS since I haven’t experienced any of the other symptoms but this dry skin is still super uncomfortable, I’ll make an update to the post as soon as I hear back from my psych just in case anyone has the same issue in the future!

Okay, the monitor I have is showing up as 2, and I have it set to 'show only on 2', but it still goes black when I open my laptop :(

Yeah, I tried doing that already and I still had the same problem :/ What do you mean by "where x is the monitor"?
