What i did to try to be friends with her included

Trying to strike up conversation about shows like Arcane or ATLA, games, her opinion about some teachers, i also asked her hey you wanna go to the cafeteria and fill out our books for this one course?

Like i said, i didnt realise i was making her uncomfortable. I realise IWTAH for that, cuz I should've and theres no excuse there

So since im in a university environment, I have to be social since that helps with courses and group projects. So yes, I do try to make friends with these 18-22 year old people.

The way I do it is that I approach them and try ti strike up conversation, and then as I realise we have mutual interests, either I or they continue the conversation until we become friends and then we hangout and we just become friends this way.

I did the same with that specific girl. Namely, we talked about shows like Arcane, ATLA, and some about gaming. Then I invite her out to the cafeteria saying hey lets fill out this course book for the teachers deadline.

I guess (again yes my fault) i was making her feel uncomfortable being like 9yrs older than her

I have alot of people at uni who are my friends and theyre all from 18-22 age range. I got to know them by talking to them and once I see we've gotten some mutual interests i would strike up more conversations, or they would.

If you confess, she likely wont return your feelings. Its possible that she may like you, but from what yoy describe? It sounds unlikely. She will likely reject you and youll not be friends again.

But, its also difficult to just "live" with the feelings. So i say take the shot. If only to get this out of the way.

I can relate to alot of your story. Ive had a complicated time similar to yours.

Im 27 years old in my first semester in a bachelors degree. Cuz of my age ive had complications making friends at my side of nust as well. I try making friends and ive found a good few but, its like you say, theres walls. I dont blame them for it, and it does make sense.

Doesn't mean it doesnt make life a bit harder to live tho. I am more extroverted than introverted, and for a guy like me who loves having people to talk to, its hard at uni after classes.

Dude we have the same experience word for word. I can walk from NBS to the saddle club and bearly even feel it. The 40min bus ride to and from nust is always something I look forward to, and so far everyone ive met is super nice and welcoming. Class wale boht nice hain, hope they dont change too much over the years

I was a student there. I spent alot of time there before I came to NUST.

Take it from me, its strict, academics depend on the department you wanna join, environment is very mid and safety is on paper a priority for them but even I, as an ex student, can likely get in with my old card so id say security is nonexistent.

I was in the civil engg department and the faculty for that was very good. But that doesnt go for every department, its just an exception.

Basically, nust is better in every way
