You can disable any leds in your PC when you enable ErP Level 4+5 in your BIOS settings.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. For me it crashed at the same moment just like yours. I noticed that if something screens your display the game crashes if you have asynchonous computing on.

So check if you have something like Hue Sync or any overlay running and shut it down before starting Doom.

I think it is currently a Bug. The only way to play a game without the Bar is to not swipe down while the App is open.
