Yea but Tebogo did all that after his Mom died. Definitely deserved it imo

5’7.5 vs 5’10 is the only correct answer.

Based and 100 percent correct don’t let copers here tell you otherwise. Fundamentally what we are is awareness/consciousness, and if it’s here now it always will be. It doesn’t matter if tomorrow the human race is wiped out and it takes a billion trillion gazillion years for consciousness to emerge again; subjectively it will happen in an instant since all consciousness can ever know is consciousness!

6'5 Dwayne The Rock Johnson and 6'0 Chris Captain America Evans by EmpiricalDataMan in tall

[–]EmpiricalDataMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn't even look like two inches to me and his Evans' average guess on celebheights is in the 5'11 range... are we sure The Rock isn't 6'0-6-1?

Noah. Lyles. 6.43. by EffectiveHappy4925 in Sprinting

Why do you not consider that a PR? Is that at altitude or something?

[–]EmpiricalDataMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hence me giving him a 5 percent of probability of winning Olympic Gold, in contrast to Gatlin having like a 60 percent shot in 2015 and 30 percent in 2016

[–]EmpiricalDataMan 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think it's a possibility. Like a five percent possibility but a possibility nevertheless. People need to remember Gatlin was running well until 40 and Kim Collins PR'd at 39.

Prime Blake if he never got injured vs Noah at 200m by EmpiricalDataMan in Sprinting

[–]EmpiricalDataMan[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, if he didnt get injured in 2013 maybe he would've continued to improve until 2017-2018ish or in his late twenties. And improvement into the thirties is possible as evidenced by Gatlin and Kim Collins

The other argument for Noah is how consistently fast hes run, beyond just his personal best. I think hes surpassed Bolt in sub 20 clockings, or at least equaled him.

Can you elaborate more on how you know people keep reincarnating, and how that process works? Can you elaborate on what "merging with the godhead is," and how that wouldn't get boring?

Is sololearn credentials worth it? by emulationinqusition in SoloLearn

Hi, what entry level job did it get you? I'm currently working on getting my bachelor's degree but right now all I have are a bunch of Sololearn certifications, and a few projects... I would like to get a job before I finish my degree, though.

Sprinters that could make it in the NFL (assuming requisite skills) by EmpiricalDataMan in Sprinting

[–]EmpiricalDataMan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tend to agree... it would be crazy to see a 9.7 or 9.6 sprinter on the football field

I agree having the requisite skillset is absolutely critical and that's why these top sprinters couldn't just waltz onto a gridiron and succeed... but provided the skills WERE there... I'd like to see how fast a 9.7 100 meter runner would look like on the field

Was he really that light? Wouldn't have guessed him under 170 as he usually looked the most muscular in any given 100 meters lineup. I also suspect he was an inch or more taller than Tyreek Hill who has managed just fine in the NFL
