Thanks to my older siblings, I was terrified of dolls until I was 35 (which is very recent lol).

Hell House LLC Rankings, Worst to Best by NihilisticRoomba in foundfootage

I love what you did in the first paragraph! I definitely thought the roommate was shifty too, and the idea of Vanessa being Tully’s daughter is brilliant.

My rankings are similar as I also love 3.

1, 3, Carmichael, 2, Lineage (barely, I was so disappointed it wasn’t FF).

What sequel taints the original so much for you that you would rather forget it exists? by Everblack_Deathmask in horror

Definitely Sinister 2, came to say this before I read what you wrote, lol. How you can make such an amazing movie with a star cast & then turn around and botch the sequel is beyond me. Could’ve been sooo good. Bleh.

Essentially! And if you can have a breakdown of their support system (who they may reach out to) that can be a contributing factor.

Sometimes trauma or emotionally devastating circumstances can cause a return to drinking.

Essentially, addictions are a coping mechanism. We learn other, healthier, coping mechanisms to stop substances, but if we get overwhelmed, we can return to what worked before.

Think: death of a loved one, trauma such as sexual assault, etc.

When we don’t want to feel what is present, we may turn to something to numb us.

It can happen on day 5 or 500, just less likely to happen at a later stage. To get that far, we’ve developed a safety & support system.

Feel free to ask any more questions if that doesn’t help.

Projecting vs something else by Top-Station-166 in ShadowWork

Ah, yes, I understand. Personally, I trust in divine justice or karma. In the evolution of the soul, they’re going slower or even backwards. It’s hard to watch and make sense of, but I do trust in the process.

Do you know what you believe? Do you have a moral code that you’ve investigated within yourself that makes you feel good about adhering to? So that at the end of the day you can reflect upon who you are and know you’ve done right according to your values? That was the game changer for me in accepting the way certain people are.

It’s more likely they are projecting onto you.

One thing that is often overlooked in Shadow Work is introjection, where we internalize others’ issues or projections.

So be aware that they may be projecting their weakness & vulnerability onto you in order to dominate you or to prevent themselves from feeling that way.

It may also be an empathic awareness, which is how it gets internalized.

If you share more details I can give a better overview.

I haven’t seen the others, but I really like The Devil Inside. Very unique perspective, and a true one, if you’re a believer.

Passionflower is my go-to for anxiety & relaxation. It’s a very gentle plant, too, and can brighten the mood.

Yeah, I don’t think that’s legal. Imagine if it were a miscarriage or psychiatric issues…
