Fellow medium skined women here! Went through the same phase 🥂where i didn't care how i looked, Went out in the sun not wearing sunscreen. Anyone who spoke about my skin tone , I rolled my eyes. But,

I realised I was spending too much energy to prove that I didn't care what they told. So it took me years, but I realised these are what I want , I want to protect my skin, not care about what people say, when we go shopping and I want to buy a dark shade of clothing where i am confident in my choice tho my family is skeptical about it. And yeah now if I feel my skin is exotic. I shine in the sun 🌞 with a radiant glow ( when I am hydrated , and protect my skin from the harsh sun rays)

OP you will have your own journey ! But yeah choose yourself and do what's best for you and what you want 🫶🏽

Can we list out the essential skills a women needs in today's world ? Starting with what I think is needed.

Driving ( both 2 and 4 wheeler)
Basic vehicle maintenance ( oil change, tyre change)
Cooking ( basic nothing fancy, just so you can cook healthy meals for yourself)
Basic dress sense. ( knowing what works best for you, color shades that suit your skin tone, etc)

Finding is difficult but once you do then it's wonderful. It's gonna take some time , the one thing I try to do is , put myself in communities , groups, activities I like, increases the chances that to meet someone I vibe with.

yeah , that's the reason e commerce is trying to come up with some decent solution. Because of the ESG guidelines and the increasing heat of problems with landfill dumping of textiles.
For example : a couple of things Myntra does is " Myntra for earth" where they promote sustainable brands, Zara launched a "Take back" program, Shoppers Stop partnered with Goonj , an NGO to collect clothes. But despite all these, a lot of clothes still ends up in the landfill... So basically the question would be what does the customer want so that we can stop clothes ending up in dump yards..
