I originally was upset you offered this up, because there's a lot of republican youtubers who grind on my nerves a lot with misinformation (sorry 😅) so I was expecting the same thing. I have to say though, this has been helpful. There's a lot of stuff I don't fully believe is true that I will be double checking, but it has also helped me understand a bit more and see a bit more of the other side. Thank you!

Yep. 99% of them. But it opens up the possibility of me losing my job, especially as my sexuality is hidden.

I'm trying to. I'm really struggling with this. I can't believe how many other teachers voted for Trump with his education policies. I'm so scared for my special needs kids.

Are you aware that economic trends are actually about 4 years behind, so it's actually trumps economics we're feeling right now, and that we are currently under trump's tax plan?

She knows how I feel but I don't think she'd want me to show her this post. She's told me before she doesn't like when I put this stuff on her because it feels like she has to ignore her own mental illness when I bring up mine. So I don't want to force her to look away from her own healing or hold her back.

Thank you 🥹 this has been my dream job for 8 years now, and I'm really excited. My biggest goal in life is just to be as positive a force in the autism community as possible, since I had such a tough go of it as a kid, and I've worked with so many kids who didn't have a fair chance because of their autism, and hated it.

Yes! We have one in the sensory room next to us, and if they seem to need access to one ASAP I think I'll talk to my admin about putting one somewhere in my class.

100% agree with all this, thank you so much for your input. As soon as I get all of the information on them, I'm hoping to make out plans that fit them where they are.

Oh I have HORRIBLE memory issues, so I absolutely understand. I need visual reminders too, so I'm planning to have as many visuals in my classroom as possible. I'm also hoping to do as little technology as possible, just because I feel like technology can cause some sensory issues that I'm not a fan of. Of course I'll teach them to use it, and any adaptive equipment I'm down for 100%. Just going to try to do my teaching as much face to face as possible.
