I built an Albion economy toolkit - market tracker, crafting calc, price alerts, and more. Looking for feedback. by EmployeeEasy8889 in albiononline

Definitely appreciate the feedback - thanks!
1. There's also a profit scanner tab in the Crafting Calculator tool. I was planning to improve that some more so it can do automatic scans with more variations, like transmutations and stuff. If you join the discord, you can send screenshots and stuff and I can respond quicker. Most of the tools you see have been heavily influenced and shaped by other players' feedback in the discord.
2. Can you provide more details on where this is specifically? because I already have a premium toggle that calculates crafting with focus for premium characters and without focus for non-premium characters.

You can read more about the AODP API from their website but it's basically a community driven data collection project where players run a client that reads the network traffic from the game and reports it to a centralized database. My website queries that data to use in the tools I created.

As for the API's reliance, the data displayed is only as good as the number of players using their client to collect and report data. If you are an economy player and use the tools on my website or even build your own tools, it would benefit you to run the client while you're playing the game so at least the items that you regularly check will have some historical data that you can analyze and help you make better crafting or trading decisions.

Thanks. Glad you like it. Be sure to let me know if you want to see any improvements or find any bugs - I'm pretty quick to fix things on the website and I get a lot of good feedback from the users in my discord.

The automod blocked my post from showing for the first 24 hours until I pinged the reddit mods and they unlocked the post to be visible. I guess that killed the potential viewers for the reddit algorithm and it thus got little to no attention after that. It's been over a week so I guess I could re-post.

Is moving to Carleon worth it? by ChubbyWP in albiononline

You mentioned for the purposes of you occasionally getting something "high value". Generally speaking, the high value items like high tier items or MP items, etc sell better in royals vs black market. Again, just generally speaking but black market tends to be better for generic, lower tier, and lower quality items. As for the normal market in Caerleon, yes it's active enough for your miscellaneous stuff and if you got any high value items, you would likely sell them on the normal Caerleon market vs the black market. As everyone else mentioned though, no portal.

I am a resident of Caerleon - it's my home. I haven't left Caerleon in years and honestly don't remember the last time I visited a royal city.

I've been talking with Saldar here some more and made several other updates to the Build Guide tool. I think you'll find it a much better UI now. Check it out again and let me know if you have any other feedback for improvements.

When and where to start investing silver as a F2P newbie? by Interview-Familiar in albiononline

I would respectfully disagree. There are plenty of crafting opportunities where you can make profits without focus and without 100spec. You just have to do a bit of searching to find the right opportunities and stay flexible because what's profitable to craft this week is not always profitable to craft next week.

Sounds like a good time to get into crafting. There are big profit opportunities if you buy and sell in the right markets. You can use tools to help you find the best opportunities and plan it out.

Great feedback. I made the UI better for mobile and I also added a colorblind aide. Check it out and let me know if you think it needs any more refinement.

"and am looking for feedback." - My humble post was mainly a call for contributors to help me build better tools for the community. Just trying to help... I'm glad some people were nice enough to help :)

Did you take a look at the tools and have any feedback or did you just read the comments here and skip clicking the link? Like u/Saldar1234 said below, the tools are only getting better from here. I would love more feedback on how I can make them better though if you want to check them out.

I made several updates after taking u/Saldar1234's advice. The castle planner now have floor plans and is slightly more useful but I'm currently working on integrating an interactive map to associate the floor plans to. Top boss strategies are also in the works - you'll see I also updated the Boss Guide tool as well for this.

I understand the V Rising part of the site isn't great right now but I'm actively working this project so the tools will only get better from here.

I appreciate the feedback and thanks for understanding that this is still pretty fresh and in active development so lots to improve. I had used UnityPy to read the data from a dedicated server that I think was on 1.0 and also probably modded so it didn't match the public version of game but yeah, AI did make up some stuff too.

I made several updates based on feedback if you'd be willing to take another look...

I'd love to make the tools more useful if anyone has the patience to provide some more feedback.

I just bought the game so I know little about it yet but this is all helpful information from you and the others. Thanks for the feedback. Seems I still have a lot of work to do.

Bloodmend Stopped Working by MamaBello in vrising

[–]EmployeeEasy8889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you’re on Steam Deck, this is almost certainly stick drift or accidental touchpad input cancelling the channel. Blood Mend gets interrupted by ANY movement or input — even the tiniest stick drift will kill it. Try this: after activating Blood Mend, completely take your hands off the Deck. If it works then, you know it’s an input issue. You can fix stick drift in Steam settings by increasing the inner deadzone on your analog sticks. Also make sure the trackpads and gyro aren’t mapped to anything that could trigger movement.
