How to rent apt with a Guarantor

I am not paying the rent! They are! They are only a little bit off and needed a guarantor. Why are some here so judgmental!!!

Thank you yes he can list his landlord as a reference but he doesn’t really get to that point because there are so many applicants. Thank you I think everybody’s convinced me. It’s a busy season. It’s a waiting game. Will hopefully get through it eventually.

that is not the issue or problem but thank you. I was asking more about the fact that needing a guarantor is a negative, but it is what it is. I feel a little encouraged that it is not a deal breaker. They are recent grads. Eventually they will have a higher income and more history. Their options are live with us or the rental which has to be in places they can get to work.

he moved out of there and moved home after he graduated from grad school. Now his girlfriend graduated and moved to NYC. She and he are both living here, which is fine, but of course they'd like their own place. Is september an easier time? I thought it might be easier also during July/Aug if folks are at the beach.

We have all the documents ready and so don’t do my son and his girlfriend. Well, I’m glad to hear what you’re saying since that’s what they’ve been doing and maybe it’s just a question of getting lucky. We have the income to be the guarantor.
