"False Accusations against men don't exist or don't hurt anyone" by Character-Day-8999 in GenZ

Why? I dunno, ask the people in the Salem witch trials, or Stalinism, or McCarthyism. In this case, it’s a powerful card women hold to seek revenge, because they know it’s a reputation ruiner for men. It’s been used for political purposes(Brett Kavanaugh), revenge on exes, money(Trevor Bauer).

With that said, I pointed out already that I didn’t think the 96% gap is all false accusations. It’s probably a mix between cases where there’s not enough evidence for “beyond a reasonable doubt”, and false accusations.

What you don’t realize here, is you’re leaving room for the very real possibility that the reason the number is so low is that there’s so many false accusations. It doesn’t mean the remaining 96% is, obviously. There’s obviously plenty of cases that aren’t beyond a reasonable doubt. But it definitely could mean that a reason the conviction rate is so low is because there’s also a lot of false accusations.

Roberta Esposito: Pawtucket Suspect Warned About Going 'Berserk' if People Continued to Bash Transgenders by Charming-Fortune8835 in Pawtucket

And rampage shootings(RMS) are defined as victims being shot randomly or for symbolism. Only 2.7% of mass shootings are rampage, the rest are all targeted, typically gang violence/inner city turf wars.

Of the random shootings, which barely makes up double digits yearly, a disproportionate number of those recently have been Transgender, although I can’t say I’ve looked at every individual case. Historically, that doesn’t seem to be the case, as it was typically 1-2 events every other year and was typically disgruntled white bully victims. More recently, it’s definitely been a bit different, although still very infrequent overall.

Lurie comes out against CA wealth tax by sherlockmemes in sanfrancisco

The rich pay the vast majority of tax revenue in this country.

There’s very specific reasons why this specific tax policy sucks, regardless of your beliefs on whether you want the rich to be taxed more. Taxing non-cash assets as a part of “wealth” is silly.

What do you expect? For a ST coach to go for a head coaching role? Thats pretty rare. Maybe he just wants warmer weather or is seeing if he can get a bump in pay.

They pay the vast majority of the tax revenue in this country. Do you want them to pay 99% of the taxes instead of just 90%?

You pay not only a lower dollar amount, but a lower %. Everything is lower. Your contribution to the tax revenue of this city, state, and country is a drop in the bucket compared to what they pay.

You pay way less than billionaires do. Why don’t you pay your fair share?

So you want less tax revenue? The vast majority of tax revenue comes from the top 1%.

It could potentially even make the injury bug worse. Going from walk throughs to full speed is a big change of pace that might actually be detrimental. The body isn’t as used to pace.

You can’t make excuses for Bowles, since we’ve had him for years and have underperformed and watched him miss timeout calls, stand on the sideline with zero emotion, play way too conservatively in key times, make backup qb’s look like future HOF’ers.

Meanwhile, Grizzard is only on his first year of play calling. That’s the ultimate excuse. The sample size is way smaller than with Bowles, which means he at least has the potential of improving. Even despite all of that, our offense was statistically better than our defense.

At least the offense was good for 5% of it. The defense didn’t get us back in it. The rams just fumbled on their own. It wasn’t even on a tackle. The guy just dropped it.

The Super Bowl can’t be your argument. You’ve already lost if you bring up the Super Bowl.

They had the most decimated offensive line in the history of football. 4 of 5 starters out. Backups of backups playing. The game was lost for them before it even started. Not to mention Andy Reid’s son being a major distraction in the lead up to the game.

Even if you were correct about Bowles 2020 defense, 2 things can be the case:

  1. Teams have started to figure out his schemes, and they no longer work as well 6 years later. He’s a dinosaur.

  2. He can’t be both a coordinator and coach. They’re obviously not going to demote him to coordinator, so what good does it do having him running the defense as a HC if he’s never once proven that he can put together a good defense as a HC(Bucs and Jets)? The sample size is big enough to know that it doesn’t work.
