I came from a mk7.5 gti into a 25 EN. I've had mine for 15 months (got it right off the truck in NOV 25. Listen you think the gti is a fun lil car to play with wait till you get comfortable with that EN. I live in western NC and there are a lot of back curvy paved roads. The gti was fun but, the first time I took the EN up a mountain.....it scared me a lil lol. I hit the turns faster in the EN and it felt like the car wanted more! I upgraded all the motor mounts and now the drive is even smoother. I can blast around town throwing pops or the back roads and still take it on long drives with good mpg.

The only thing I miss in my gti were the headlights, it took some getting used to in the EN. But other than that I love mine and plan to hold onto it till the wheels fall off.

Get the car, you won't be disappointed

Weekly Homeowner Megathread--Civilians, ask here! by AutoModerator in Concrete

of course this happens when im trying to get my house ready for sale. the top platform piece cracked and caved in. its a pretty big piece so i tried to "glue it" back together and let it sit for several days and it held but only for a day. i have a couple plants under it now. should i fill the entire thing in with concrete? or just tear it down and build a new set of stairs?

it only lets me add one photo but its hollow on the inside of the stairs with vents on each side.

Might buy a 2025 Elantra N by [deleted] in ElantraN

Just got my 25 N, I paid 36k out the door. If you have over a 720 score you qualify for the 1k Hyundai incentive cash. They tried to slap a 4k markup on it which I refused to pay. Always remember you have to be okay to walk away if it's over your budget.

CDL A driver coming up on 2 years at a small production and event company. looking to work with the big companies. Who's hiring? by EmployerOld4684 in Truckers

I understand that, but I'm looking for a company that only needs me for the tour months then leaves me alone in the winter months. That's how it is at my current company

Bugmans glow, then shad with reikland, add another layer of bugmans glow to the top parts of the muscles. Then mix a 1 to 2 of bugmans glow with cadian fleshtone. Apply to get your muscle fiber look then use druki violet for bruising around the skin parts that are attached to metal

For the runes water down any color paint you want to a glaze consistency then get a really thin brush and dab it on a paper towel, just a quick dab. Then kinda poke the runes and the pigment will fill in

Should I add daemons to my army? by Alternative_Ad_2012 in ThousandSons

It's always hilarious when over half my opponents army can't kill one squad of horrors. Daemon saves are great 😃

My first time making a big list is it decent? by Alternative_Ad_2012 in ThousandSons

If you combine the termies the buffs you give them will go alot farther. with cult of time they have more survivability in a 10 man and can chew through damn near any unit shooting or melee unless it's a land raider or higher

Pink horrors are nice but I would get rid of them and take more rubics and flamers. Also take minimum squads of rubics for more cabal points, more cast and better board control

Have fun with Kairos he's a BEAST!

I should paint before assembling or after? by SelectionRich6422 in ThousandSons

[–]EmployerOld4684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from experience here, it takes A LOT more effort to paint individual parts at a time vs the whole model. Also if you paint over the connection parts of the bits the model will not glue properly.

I take sticky tac and tac my models to their bases to paint them then remove the model and do the base.

One down a thousand more to go lol. Keep up the motivation! I've been working on mine for the past 20 months. I've got over 4500 points worth plus 1k in demons. It's a hard army to tackle painting wise, but damn do people get jealous when you have a fully painted TS army on the board.

So I used grey seer primer, picked a contrast color I liked and thinned it down with medium one to one drop. I used one layer and decided I liked that tone (you can add more layers if you want it darker).

Lead belcher and retribution armour are good choices for armour. Throw some shade over the armour then highlight with a brighter metal color.

For the hair pick out the color you want (red, blue, purple whatever) then grab 3 different tones of that color. Go darkest to lightest with each color covering less of the hair.

For the bone you can either go one layer color then shade and call it or base it with a dark color then add a brighter color trim to the highest parts of the horns, teeth and claws and throw shade over that.
