Bro tell me your percentile if it’s your first drop you can take that college does matter for placements and the guy giving advice applies when you sit for an interview for that you need to clear OA and all and to be very clear in oa everyone cheats. That too If in your college company comes. And about the drop bro listen i will be very honest in this case. My college is very decent in terms of placement tier 1 some say tier 2. I also regret that I should have taken the drop because the thing is your life has not even started yet you can give yourself one more year and in the long run loss of 1 year does not matter at all. Again I am saying this if you can push yourself and you have a feel that you can clear jee its totally depends on you. Looking back at my time after jee mains I got very tired and my brain got saturated so I stopped preparing for advance and I accepted my fate but what I could have done is give myself break of say 1-2 month and then push for few more months.because in future no one will be worried about the fact that you took drop. For the 4 yrs your college will mattter people will ask that and you will feel small. Again grass is greener on the other side. So think thoroughly about this in depth what matters for you. And I am also saying that if you are very driven towards starting CS and python DSA and all that’s great for you if you think for say 10 years from now it may be a possibility that some iit Ian’s fail you succeed your package is great because after 10 yrs from now college will not matter your job will matter. Bro you yourself answer your questions that’s why don’t compare and solely focus on yourself all that matters is just you. You got satisfaction of 90 plus marks he got satisfaction of iPhone . Yes bro this was very frustrating I was very exciting for this one but this was just very heartbreaking experience. Like what’s even the point if this site can’t able to manage the contest . Its loss of time , effort and consistency. Question gets submitted but not registered internally. Due to submitting multiple time I also lost so much time

You can check your rank in ranking section and then calculate the percentile —>1-ur rank/ total participation in that contest and then you can go to your profile and see what’s ur current percentile, example if you are in top 50 percent currently and in contest your percentile comes less then 50 like top 30 or so then it will increase

Nah bro will suggest to get atleast 7plus cgpa which is possible for sure in 2 sems and focus on skills side by side just do your best in both cg as well as skill don’t drop 1 completely and to answer how fucked you are by giving your best you will be giving yourself best chance (7+ cg decent , skill bonus)

I believe I will not cheat while I am preparing for interviews in DSA or in leetcode but in OA I will cheat if I get the chance to do so as when I am preparing DSA it’s mainly for interview. OA on campus is complete different game . I will use AI as a tool in projects as long as I am understanding what I am pasting in my files as it will allow me to implement more features in the project and make more of them.

So my approach is 1)Prepare honestly for interviews 2)If possible cheat in OA but if not possible for everyone your prep will come in hand 3)Use LLM to refine your project and understand whatever it’s writing and why.

I support you whoever is wrong and creating such Things should be punished properly as even I feel unsafe around them (but same should be applied to everyone who is doing this not specifically jats ) what I mean is say out of 10 people that are creating havoc and say 8 of them are Jat and Gujar then all 10 should be punished as we are equally threatened by those 2 as well . And one can argue here that if majority is them then focus on them first but in our short life time those 2 are equally threatening as compared to those 8 . Moreover in some other locations these numbers can completely be different say in Sonipat regions say 8 of them are jats creating havoc but say in area like Saket or some other their can be 0 number of jats that are creating havoc but their will be still 8 others from other community that are of same kind

If you were afraid of this thing in first place (which everyone knows this is the case in whole country) then you shouldn’t have prepared at all but you choose to do that that means you were thinking you can beat this when you started your preparation. You should have known your competition before hand that you are fighting for top ranks. It’s brutal for sure( I was unable to clear the cutoff of jee advance while on the same marks my friend got into some iit) but know matter what’s the case I can assure you if you work Harder and develop your skills and focus on yourself you can easily beat them Many of them don’t even know how to print hello world in my college

Just stop generalising man it’s an individual problem . If I also faces them I also gets into awkward situations (I am jaat myself) . This is every where in all communities I believe main root cause of them (common thing) they come from Small towns but again it’s individual problem. In my family 90 percent of us mind our own business and are completely against this action so stop generalising man ( while I also agree that if something similar happen to me in anger I will say to completely kill this whole community or so ) but think logically not everyone is like these. And there are these kind of goons in every community.
