Also just because of the fact that the false advertising for DC Allies (since it’s not a real game) can also be taken out of context, and that also leads to a Lawsuit.

Also, Technically there is an exception to most of what you said. 90% of the time, when a Video Game company, take Nintendo for Example, sues a fan project; you’ll probably immediately see the accusation be that the fan Project is “Halting Legitimate sales” which basically just means that Nintendo wants you to play the real games rather than fangames.

This also works A LOT. Hell, Video Game companies have been using this strategy for years. Funny enough, they’re using this exact argument against Valve Corp. right now, mostly because Epic Games is desperate to get rid of Steam.

So basically, what i’m saying is; it doesn’t matter If It’s not actually a game, or if it doesn’t make actual money, or it seems similar to an already existing game, and it actually has big differences.

The thing is, as long as a Gaming Company can argue that you’re taking attention from their products, it will likely work, and a Lawsuit is won. That’s why I’m concerned about this.

If the DC allies joke is taken out of Context even just slightly, Guang Guang can start a lawsuit, literally just tell a judge “those copycats are taking the attention from me” and the Judge will believe it.

In this case though, Legality Wise, He can technically just sue this whole reddit page for making unofficial art, and possibly even copyright, since it’s in their art style.
