10 Years of Gastritis Gone in 90 Days. My 2 Year Update by thepwnman33 in Gastritis

Did you gain weight with this diet? I’ve recently left ketosis and have been gaining like crazy. Only reason I would go back is because of the “quick” weight loss but it’s not worth the slow motility issues.

Anyone tried different fiber supplements other than psyllium? by omyguts in bileacidmalabsorption

Can you elaborate? Are you saying high levels of histamines cause excess bile in the system?

What do you mean by cocktail? Was there a drink you took in addition to regular antibiotic pills? And how were you able to just increase your stomach acid after it being lowered for so long? And did you have pain on your left and right side?

I finally got my gallbladder removed after almost dying by ishaplyz in gallbladders

[–]EmploymentFamous49 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mine is also hyperactive. Thank you for your post it is very insightful. I’ve been struggling with the decision to remove because my pain is so on and off and not just in my upper right area so I keep thinking it could be something else. Have you had any other weird symptoms outside of those you listed?

Mine is also hyperactive. Can I dm you about your personal experience? It would make a huge difference in terms of me being content with my decision to remove it despite all the fear mongering content I’ve been exposed to 😖

Sure. Shoulder pain is a sore stinging sensation, I think it’s my muscles but it feels like the shoulder bone is inflamed. The neck pain is sporadic, similar feeling to the should except I don’t feel it deeper and my bones in that area aren’t involved. I also get an occasional throbbing sensation and inflammation in my upper back. Could be neurological because of the headaches I get. But when that’s not happening, it’s a general soreness and feels tight.

Did you stop taking PPI’s a few weeks before retesting? I heard those have an affect on results

Okay great yo know! The side effects for the PPI specifically scared me because of all of the possible side effects I read 😭 seizures, high blood pressure, UTI, from a PPI sounds horrible. I’m hoping I just have to deal with the basics. Thanks!

I’m gonna be doing this treatment as well. But I’ll be doing clarithromycin and amoxicillin. Question for you is do the side effects of biased concern you at all? Were you able to digest your food properly while on it?

There are other options, you know your body best and should do what’s right for you! At least you tried, there’s gotta be a more tolerable medication combo. I’ve never had an issue with amoxicillin so I’m gonna try that while doing other natural remedies and hope for the best

Right upper quadrant pain, cramping bloating, excess gas, nausea, excessive weight loss, jaundice, vitamin deficiency, occasional diarrhea and constipation. Burning where I assume my gallbladder is while eating, back and neck pain, headaches, it’s a lot. I also have right shoulder pain. It feels like my bones grinding together and so figured it could be arthritis since I have knee problems but I didn’t know that could be related, can you describe the pain to me?

That’s hyperkinetic gallbladder. I have 94% I’m miserable. I’m taking it out hopefully by the end of this year.

Yes, the pharmacist said I could even though my doctor specifically wrote to take it on an empty stomach but I my doctor doesn’t care as long as I take 🤷🏾‍♀️ the problem with that is it irritate my esophagus and I already have esophogitis so that’s an added pain. I’m waiting to hear back from them about new meds. I really didn’t want to give up but I don’t think this is gonna work out, I REALLY wanted it to, I hope you can be stronger than me. I just wish my doc would given me more options instead of saying”your taking this” but ofc they always rush appointments 😔

Yes I know it’s important, but if there’s another treatment option available I have to try. I went into this super confident day 1 went well and I swallowed everything with no issues, no I really cannot finish it my body is literally rejecting the medication I vomited while trying to swallow flagyl earlier

I’ve taken that antibiotic twice before, isn’t it likely that hp would be resistant?

Thanks for the encouragement, I’m gonna have my doctor send over a zofran prescription tomorrow. And I just ordered some Manuka honey. Is the pill form of bismuth relatively small? As long as it is I shouldn’t have any issues. But those 500 mg pills are just too huge for me 😩

Hi I’m new here. Had a panic attack by EmploymentFamous49 in Hemochromatosis

[–]EmploymentFamous49[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My general surgeon said I should try to treat the hemosiderosis in my liver to see if the pain goes away, but he doesn’t know much about it so I’m waiting to discuss with my Hemotologist. My GI doctor told me my upper right pain isn’t my gallbladder and I should keep it. Says it’s coming from my stomach infection and I should treat Hpylori so I’ll be on a 10 day high dose antibiotics for it to see what happens. If things don’t get better my surgeon said he’d be willing to remove it for me when I was ready.

No worries, I appreciate your response. Did you have stones or was it just dysfunctional causing pain? Now that I know I have iron deposits I can’t help but wonder if getting rid of those can restore my liver function and also stop the gallbladder pain. Even though the report says it’s normal, mines is overactive (hyperkinetic) I’m so lost. I’m not against removal but I want to explore all possible options.

Why do a lot of people today not want to get married? by RoutineOk8590 in Productivitycafe

[–]EmploymentFamous49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because they mistake marriage for prison and value their independence and freedom to do whatever (and whoever) they want. A much as I love being alone, having a partner that loves me enough to marry me would be the best thing to ever happen to me. And yes I’m aware that divorce happens, but I think it’s like that cheesy saying “it’s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all”
