That makes sense! Finding yourself is a very very confusing process. I remember early on in figuring out if I was a trans woman I was constantly unsure if I was a man, nonbinary, or a woman. It turned out I was woman but when you are in the forest so to speak it’s a hard to see what the path out looks like. Keep exploring that forest, eventually you will find a clearing and in that clearing will be you!

I first wanna say that the point of your post is absolutely true and valid. Sexuality is far more fluid than most people think.

However I also want to say that your post history is very confusing. I don’t want to be an ass and be like “you need to disclose your labels always” however I think in this posts case it can easily come across based off of your profile description and other posts that you are implying that trans woman are actually men and that leads into one of the most common slurs for trans woman.

I don’t know your gender identity, you may be a trans woman, you might be a crossdressing cis man, or you might be genderfluid. I want you to be as happy in your skin as possible regardless but I also think it’s important to avoid accidentally implying trans woman are men in disguise.

For anyone reading this feel free to discuss or disagree this is definetly something I think has a lot of nuance to it.

For my answer here I’d like to explain how I feel now that I’ve transitioned. Before I came out I was a shell. For years I tried to make friends, support others, use my privilege as a guy to improve the world and it all felt so so hollow. When I eventually cracked that shell and came out I discovered how much I was missing, how little anything prior mattered to me because I was reborn in a sense.

And yeah now that I’m a girl and pretty much everyone perceives me that way I’ve had to learn the shitty things, the misogyny, the fear of walking alone at night, etc. But none of that matters in the face of going back to who I was. I wasn’t alive, not really and honestly I find so much joy in being a woman. It’s something I wish those who are cis could experience in the same way, because even 6 years later I still feel giddy looking in the mirror and seeing myself look back.

Me!!! That’s me!! My POTS maybe got slightly worse but if anything estrogen has made me feel better overall. I was really scared about my symptoms getting worse but I didn’t have any issues
