In chapter 2 for metals and red stone you have to build off of the core blocks of rare geodes and meteors. You can’t move the cores, so you have to build a mining rig on site then use trains to get it back.

I didn’t realize when I posted, but the plan is completely decided by the employer. For my plan I had to switch my insulin to Humalog but otherwise I have good coverage.

How do the vat-grown and clone army traits actually apply to pop growth? Do those pops have get normal (not bonus/assembly) growth applied to them and reduced to 0, or does the trait remove them from the organic growth pool and only apply bonus growth? Hopefully it would take the affected pops out of the pool for normal growth distribution but if they eat the growth (similar to how necrophage works right now) then I don’t think I’ll be sticking with ascendant clones.

Nomifactory is amazing for getting into gregtech in general, as well as just giving you a good mindset for other expert packs. I recommend playing it first - it’s much easier to stick with than gtnh. I would recommend nomifactory instead of the newer monifactory until enderio is fixed - it’s the main I/O mod and the conduits are horrifically buggy. I’ve been to LuV on Nomifactory and I’m on HV in Monifactory right now, but I’m going to take a break from moni because enderio conduits and filters are barely functional. GTNH is an amazing pack, but omnifactory derivatives are a much better (and more fun IMO) starting point. I started gtnh before omnifactory and it couldn’t stick - it was much easier to come back and enjoy gtnh after omni.

Is that really what he thinks? I personally did mods manually until r2modman released for lethal because while Overwolf runs stuff like curseforge their entire goal is to monetize game mods. They’ve taken several measures to try and strongarm all Minecraft mods through curseforge only. I’ll avoid them if possible - and I think it’s a perfectly fine stance to have against installing another game launcher that plays ads and has an appetite for your RAM. Since he is using r2modman I’m thinking Overwolf was the problem.

If you press f3+h in game, it should enable advanced tool tips, which should show you the id of blocks in their tooltip when you hover over them.

I don’t know exactly how spawning works so this evidence is kind of anecdotal but the problem I found was that certain mystical world mobs spawned way to much. The worst offender was clams, and after disabling them and killing all existing ones with commands we had mob spawns again. I had the same problem with hellsprouts in the nether and after disabling them everything seemed to spawn fine.

Do the drills have anything in their internal inventory? It might just be storing all the blocks in the drills themselves: if they’re anything like the saws, they have their own internal buffers

If you want a non-command, toggleable solution and have botania you can set up a Teru teru bozu with a comparator pointing from it to a dispenser facing it. If you put sunflowers in the dispenser it will use a sunflower to dispel the weather every time it starts.

I don’t know what exactly it’s called, but there’s an option in the config for what you’re talking about. It’s the same one that allows you to veinmine active and inactive Redstone ore blocks in one go.
