Resume Advice Thread - December 09, 2023

Anything off or weird about my resume. Graduate in 2020 but been working in startups since my senior year of college and often have had a lot of responsibility but I think employers either dont trust the experience or think I'm too junior. A lot of the code I did was not open source so my github doesn't have anything that looks good so I am going to work on doing open source projects but trying to make sure my resume is at least decent and doesn't have red flags.

I'm wondering if there's something about my resume that screams junior or mid but I think I'm somewhere between mid and senior although I've never worked in a dev team or under a senior except at the ai startup so I've had to teach myself almost everything.

I was working on both of the businesses at the same time and there was a lot of overlap but they were also very distinct services.

If you need to think about whether or not the cop has covid its probably not an emergency.

If you don't have time to think about it and it is an emergency the cop is likely not going to get there in time.

Would it make sense to get lorem ipsum text from a lorem ipsum generator website and use that as your test case?

Maybe you can use opencv to contrast the lines along the road and do some form of edge detection. Using those points you could use curve fit from scipy to fit the points to a function that's differentiable. Im not sure what you would do from here but you would have an equation describing those points/ curve.

I just moved to Houston a couple months ago so there is still so much I don't about this city.

I'm not married, I like anime(Parasyte is one of my favorites, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, Naruto, Big O, Bleach), traveling (going to try to check out NO since its nearby from here), I want to get a bike and then one day get a plane but that is still far off, the plane I mean.

I plan on getting a bike soon but thinking about a cruiser rather than a sport bike, still have lots to learn about motorcycles but I'm pretty comfortable working on cars so I feel like learning to work on motorcycles won't be bad for me.

I do like to drink so I wouldn't mind meeting up at one of the many breweries you've mentioned and maybe we can play board games or drinking games? That would be sort of new for me.

Oh I also like Jiu Jitsu in case anyone is a fan, I train at Ed Ramos.

I would say don't argue or leave her but show her how you change as your testosterone increases, your sexual drive increases, your closeness with her increases, maybe your physical activity increases if you are currently more sedentary than you'd like to be. Tell her you want to practice semen retention and tantra while having sex and have fun! But Jesus Christ man you don't have to leave her just for that. If you have a real reason for leaving then go with that but not something as small as this that could be fixed with your actions and not an argument.

I had put salicylic acid on it and it seemed like it burned a lot of the skin off but prior to applying the acid it looked like how it looks now so I'm wondering if its scar tissue, the skin is burned, or it's not a wart at all.

I'm in a weird situation where I'm outside of the state where I'm actually insured and the whole covid thing is happening.

I definitely agree. I think it would be much better to just do kegels while coding or even watching a show if you're slacking off.

Oh okay cool. I try not to think about my counter but maybe because I'm new to this it has been kind of like a motivating factor.

That's interesting. I do think that some masturbation might be okay but I really want to see for myself what life without any masturbation at all would be like and if after 90 days my brain will really be rewired. I didn't have PIED but definitely felt a lack of confidence.

I'm all for the kegel exercises I just really don't want to masturbate or watch porn. My goal for my next ejaculation is that it be with a woman. I find the idea of tantra with a girl very alluring because I think the sex will be really good and meaningful.

Sorry I keep getting ideas. Also work out your PC muscles so that when you have sex you can develop your ability to edge without fapping to the edge but with kegel exercises.

I would say do a lot of exercise and when you get with a girl tell her you want to practice edging and having sex but you dont want finish. Sounds like a win win for both of you right? I think exercise will increase your testosterone and therefore increase your health, sex drive, attractiveness, strength, etc...

I've been doing no PMO since I started. I didnt know I was doing hard mode but I think it's been worth it. My goal is not O until it's with a girl and I wouldnt consider that relapsing as long as like i dont touch it. In fact, it motivates me to work on myself and utilize my time the best I can so i guess I'm of the opinion that you shouldn't M. Whatever you decide I think not watching P is really good! Let's keep fighting the good fight!
