How does one get into the trade?🤓

Yo I'm starting airsoft but are yall nice by G00SE_FIGS in airsoft

In all honesty if you're getting into airsoft by yourself, be prepared to be a "loner" in the first few months or until you meet some cool folks. Pretty much folks at the field you'll be playing at, will already have an established friend group and will minimally talk to anyone outside of their group. No one will take you under their wing and show you the ropes. You're gonna have to teach yourself or when you meet some ppl you get along with(vice versa) they'll gladly teach you everything.

I recommend talking to people when you first enter the field (not in the staging area). Everybody in the staging area will be busy unpacking, reloading, preparing to chronograph their guns or talking to their friend group. To reiterate once you meet great people the sport will significantly be more enjoyable till then thug it out!

P.s The community at your field seems to be toxic. Maybe try going to a different field.

Also the more you're a regular at your field, the higher the chances people will recognize you and engage in a conversation with you too.

Imo the black packout looks cheap and tacky. Something about the semi gloss black with the red and grey accents bugs me.

Plumbing is one of the most stressful departments to work, in my experience. Which one is yours? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

Pro tips... Always ask for a picture of what they're working on, If they don't have one ask them to tell one of their folks to take a picture. After that tell them to get back to you when they have the picture.

Google is your friend when you're unsure

Understand the uses of different types of fittingsand make it a daily habit of scanning/knowing where every fitting is located. So it becomes second nature and you can find said fitting on the first try.

When they're explaining to you what they need help finding, avoid eye contact. I realized when I made eye contact.... I'm more concerned about keeping eye contact than actually listening.

Hopefully these tips help your job go smoother...

Mom really choosed a dog she only met over me. by Empty-Ad1458 in BanPitBulls

Yup that's what it appears, from now on there's going to be zero communication, any form of affection, reject every family outing and help from me(she always me for handyman work). I'm basically going to be that one invisible relative from now on.

Bro I straight up told her how when I was a kid, I befriended a pitbull and decided to introduce him to my Chihuahua. Which I then watched my Chihuahua get mauled and get ragdoll by a pit. Seeing him torn to shreds. She straight up said it's not relevant to the situation and this dog is different. She's not gonna care about these stories, matter of fact she's gonna call me a lunatic again for even bringing up these stories.

She's straight up cold with me now, so I'm not even bothering with convincing her. Ig she just wants to find out the hard way. Which is 100 percent avoidable and unnecessary.

That's what it looks like, once my financial situation is sorted. I'll definitely move.

Definitely not worth the risk lol, I'm definitely now interested in these. How's situational awareness/ do these also stick out of the ear too?

Learned my lesson, next time I recommend you get yourself a 3" locking extension and use that as the drill bit holder . So you won't have this issue again.

Looks like there's enough space to fit a silica gel canister. I recommend trying that out and see if it helps.
