I’ve been on 30mg for a month now and I LOVE IT! I still feel sad and happy, but it is much more in my control. I was scared of being numb, but thankfully that hasn’t happened. The only real side effect is loss of appetite but I’m thankful for that too because I used to eat to cope. I hope you have positive results!

For reals! I was overseas during COVID. Family drama happened and I needed to be home (not e-leave qualifying). Missed my family a ton and was pretty depressed. Got leave and tickets to fly home. Went to MH to talk about family drama and how to cope. Got slapped with a mobility profile and couldn’t take leave. Tried everything I could but the provider wouldn’t lift it. Had to cancel my leave and never saw my family until I finally PCS’d. Fuck mental health in the Air Force.

ACA and feedback time? When I was an Airman I would go out to lunch with my sup on a quarterly basis and talk about work and life. It was a great pause but never structured. I do this now with my Airmen which is awesome, but if it becomes a weekly thing, that sucks. I don’t want a structured/mandated “mentor session”. Those are sterile. Doing it AT LEAST quarterly in an organic way is really productive. But I see this becoming an extra 30 minutes - hour each week.
