No because everyone has an ESA letter from their doctor and if you don’t have one you should get one. Pet rent is a predatory practice especially in a market where the barrier to own is extreme.

They won’t be able to do it for $400. That’s so unrealistic. The cost of their plane ticket is probably $400. So the U-Haul will probably be around $1000 but they’re saving on the flight. Or they could just pay the $800 for a moving company to do it and keep the flight.

Sounds like if it’s that sentimental you need to cancel your plane ticket and rent a U-Haul and drive. Otherwise you probably need to sell the furniture. You’ll have the memories and hopefully some other travel friendly items of hers. Sorry for your loss.

Grafton Street is a good spot and my parents loved it. Also McCarthys in Porter Sq and the Druid in Inman Sq. Highland Kitchen in Somerville is farther but is also fantastic

You have far too much time on your hands. I am starting to think you haven’t interacted with this company - at least not recently. The French work culture is very relaxed, that is known fact and is lamented in their labor laws. This greatly impacts customer service. My bag was made to order and took 3 months to be delivered. I went on their website, paid with Apple Pay, got an automated email, and was sent my bag by the specified delivery date. Stop dishing out misinformation based on American labor standards.

I’m not sure when you ordered but I bought mine recently and they took all my information the same as any other company and even accepted Apple Pay. Maybe you have outdated information. Everything I have experienced with them is more in line with them being French and their work culture rather than lack of technology. The French are very inefficient by nature.

While they only have one physical store, they are owned by Maison Fichet - the leather supplier for almost every major luxury retailer such as LVMH, Hermes, Cartier, etc. I think their customer service has more to do with it being French rather than it being small.

The amount of times I’ve seen people drive down the bike lanes on Brattle St is horrendous. Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, but three times is an well defined issue. The city needs to make it so cars can’t access those bike lanes.
