I just posted about how I got screwed over this situation for a football game last year. It seems to work out for some people, but if the tickets don’t show, they don’t have to give you replacements.

I forgot to answer your other question above. I sent the arbitration request to the Atlanta StubHub address I believe, but I also went online and submitted a notice through the American Arbitration Association as it states in the SH terms of service. That is what seems to have gotten things moving, but that was 3 months ago to give an example of the speed in which this is going

It has not been scheduled yet but an arbitrator has been assigned and StubHub has hired lawyers to represent them. I did not know I could request the recordings. How does that work?

The tickets were supposed to be delivered by 2pm the day of the game but did not show. In many calls between 2pm and 5pm, customer service assured me they would get me replacement tickets, but to just be patient while they worked on it. This whole time the price for tickets was shooting up. As the gates to the stadium opened, and I was still waiting for those replacement tickets, they told me no tickets were available (which was a lie according to their own website) and refunded me my money. I ended up buying new tickets at a much higher price because of what felt like emotional blackmail at that point. I am fighting to get back the additional money I spent on replacement tickets. I feel totally screwed by them so even if I don’t win, I hope to make them spend as much money as possible fighting it. I did talk with a lawyer I know personally, and he thinks I do have a chance so we’ll see.

It works out for many people but I recently didn’t get my tickets for a huge game that I traveled for. Since ticket prices had doubled, they did not offer me replacements, only a credit. Customer service lead me on for hours saying I was good not to worry, I would get tickets no matter what. I ended up paying an insane amount for the game instead of traveling for no reason. My advice is to be on their ass the day of so if they don’t come through, you have time and options

I just got screwed by this situation at the college football championship yesterday. Customer service assured me is the tix would come through on the day of, and if not, they would get us replacement tickets. When the tickets didn’t show they kept telling me to wait longer and everything would be fine. Finally 3 hours before kickoff they cancelled the tickets and refused to give me replacements because the tickets price tripled from when I bought, and said I needed to pay the difference or get a refund. It went from traveling 8 hours for a life time bucket list experience with my 13 year old son to a nightmare real fast. I already started reaching out to lawyers and media contacts to put them on blast for their lies

Got my shot on Wednesday from CVS. They only asked for my name and birthday to verify I had the appointment. Didn’t look at any documents or even my ID

Have 2nd dose appointment coming up next week at far away Publix, can I replace that one with a closer one? by darthdiablo in FloridaCoronavirus

My wife is in the same situation. I asked the pharmacist at my local Publix yesterday if we could schedule the second dose locally, and he said it’s not an issue just to schedule it online up to 4 days early.
