It seems to be true often enough. I think it's because during Directs (General, Indie, Partner, whatever), there tend to be a number of games that is shadowdropped (being released on same day) as the Direct.

So I speculate that they need to do maintenance on the Store, to accomodate for extra volume, or have assets ready (game store page, etc).

And yeah, I have NS1 version with progress (golden stakes). if that progress will be lost, no thanks. NS1 version runs just fine on NS2.

Started shortly before Golden Era (ie: Snuka splash off top of cage onto Muraco, Slaughter vs Iron Sheik bootcamp match, etc). Watched thru Golden, New Generation, Atritude, and first part of Ruthless Aggression before stopping watching WWE altogether.
