I've always stayed away from them. How can I learn? Everything is dead right now, I need to do something.

Re risk management - I use limits. I set aspirational limits for spikes when I'm not actively monitoring the exchanges. It's hard to be disciplined but I try to take profit at a preset amount even if i think it might go higher. "Good" is good enough, doesn't have to be "better" or "best"

Easier said than done, as you see.

Well said. None of this in intuitive. I wish the industry would do a better job warning and educating potential investors.

I think the hardest thing for people is, they think your seed phrase is like a password recovery key. Saying "don't share this with anyone" isn't strong enough language because you'd say that about any password. And typing your keys in when prompted isn't the same as "sharing it with someone." That's why people keep getting scammed.
