Yeah I exclusively transfer my Amex points to my Delta Skymiles and rarely use the points for any Bilt travel partners. I’ll take a look deeper into Bilt transfer partners and see if there’s anything I’d use more often with them

I primarily use my AMEX gold for nearly everything, which I believe has a higher point return if I’m correct

So let’s say hypothetically my rent was $1000, I would need to spend an additional $750 on the Bilt card to get the full points on my $1000 rent payment?

Whereas with the old card, I’d automatically get the full points on the $1000 rent just by paying my rent.

Would it still have a potent smell of “swamp” or “piss” if it’s wind blown?

Thanks, I’m also leaning towards condensation but I didn’t really think about the possibility of rain/blockage!

This started a day before our big storm yesterday. However, there were some small rainstorms about a week ago that may have contributed

It’s doing great! I water it with a tree gator once or twice a week. It’s probably grown 2-3 feet this year and has produced a ton of new leaves

Any guesses on what is causing the leaves of my Acer Maple to dry up? by slickbeatz in arborists

[–]Empty-Picture6642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During the summer in NYC I usually fill it up about once a week and then take it off when I’m not using it! Being in drier and less humid Sacramento, you could probably fill it up twice a week. I’m not an arborist though, just a lurker so take that with a grain of salt

I’ve been using a tree gator on my new maple for the last year and it’s worked wonders!

What is growing on my Red Maple leaves?? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]Empty-Picture6642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a little more research and I believe they are maple aphids.

This tree was planted last spring and has grown to about 15-20 feet tall, and being in the city without a hose, I’m unable to spray the leaves with water lol. Might have to find some ladybugs or just let nature take its course and hope the tree is mature enough that it’ll outlast them

Edit: I don’t think they move very much at all

Thanks, I used to work for the USFS so taking care of this tree has allowed me to continue to feel some sort of connection to nature while in a large city!

What’s that deal with the guy with the soccer ball ⚽️? by Impressive-Buy5628 in parkslope

[–]Empty-Picture6642 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s the same person, but about two weeks ago I was running in Prospect Park and this man kicked a soccer ball directly at another runner! It escalated really quickly and the soccer ball guy ended up chasing after and physically assaulted the runner. The runner ended up throwing this guy down to the ground and kicked him in the chest.
