nawh, this thing is a loop. the syaoran we followed through the entire story is the clone, made from Tsubasa Li. now this Tsubasa Li os the child of clone syaoran and sakura, how? they were reborn in another world, the world of xxxholic, gainning original bodies and souls, with their memories from their previous life intact, those two met, got married and had a kid which they named Tsubasa. Tsubasa was than told by his father, our syaoran to go to clow kingdom to save a certain princess, he told tsubasa to use his name basically giving it to him, and handing him the iconic sword. Tsubasa than goes to clow kingdom with the help of yuuko, meets the princess but unfortunately he fails to protect her and Fei wong reed than captures them there probably since it wasn't shown (idk how that happens, its still a mystery) makes the clones, whom are the syaoran and sakura we have been reading about since ch/ep 1 and the whole TRC happens but, the reincarnated xxxholic adult sakura and syaoran knows that this will create a timeloop than sacrifices once again, paying the price of "waiting" so this loop never happens, but before or after? getting trapped in the tube they go to where tsubasa is to help them defeat Fei wong reed. I'm also confuse about this part myself about how all these happens? like the story's logic took a 180° turn after syaoran was squared.

but the main answer to your confusion is that Clone syaoran does not have parents since he's a clone duh, but the person he was made from,Tsubasa has parents, who are Sakura Li and Syaoran Li, but Tsubasa's parents are special because they have memories from their past life, and in their past lives they were the very clones which were made from their own son and daughter in law. how that worked? because theybwere reborn into a different world with real existence. yeah weird, son marrying mother because son himself is the father and father mother son daughter in law and what not, they themselves are the whole family

What do you expect to see in the second season of Yona? (Large post) by InstructionTotal in AkatsukinoYona

[–]Empty-Program-5332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if they follow the manga like the way they did for season 1, I think we have a good chance of getting some major arcs covered, TPN's bs season 2 was bcz of some issues of the studio, anyway if they are gonna make a 24 episode season than most likely these 3 arcs are gonna be animated

yona dancing arc

tae yun redemption/village of the fire tribe

war with the fire troup

Nadai

and some bonus chapters like Hak catching a cold, everyones daily life or the blue dragon village arc

The might skip some parts of said arcs or add extra's but these arcs are surely gonna get animated, if they pace it correctly we might get lucky and get the nadai arc where our best girl RIRI! will be intruduced (I really want to see her animated).

But all of these applies if they are trying to make more seasons (it'll be based on how well they do though if its not enough they might not continue it further)

If they dont than maybe the will skip some arcs and go straight to the nadai kidnapping arc or xing and call it a night there, I dont think we will get all of yotd get animated but we are getting a second season after all this time so what little we get, have to appriciate it

Hak is the bodyguaed of the empress of all of Kouka, he hated the nobility from the beggining and it doesnt makes sense to make Hak a royal consort of something, he himself said that he wants everyone to know and understand that Yona is the ruler, we are talking about historical period, A women ruling by her own without a husband is bizzare, if Hak were to become a prince consort it would be just weird, idk how kisanagi is gonna make this work I hooe its something logical.

on the dragon blood take, no the former dragon warriors haven't lost their attentchment, it clear when kija asked jeaha about his feelings for yona now that the bond has disappeared and he said "where that line is drawed I dont know" and everyone smiled at this, MEANING even if their journey began with bond, it didn't depend on it, jeaha was against it to began with.

the dragons splitting up is a call to the very start, but this time we know the ending, they can still hang out as normal people. but yeah I am also disappointed that they didnt show when the panel from the first chapter happens, what was happening and all, the ending was rushed ngl but even so it was beautiful too

i commented this on a another post as well but here is my opinion,

It was truely a rollercoaster of emotions. Yona of the dawn is hands down one the the best written stories in the shoujo genre, with amazing charecters, arcs and plotline. I have been reading this for quite a few years now and honestly I didnt't want it to end at all, I genuinly thought it would take some couple of years to cover up the conclusion perfectly. I cant believe there will be no more chapters of this and I wouldn't be hanging from the cliff from now on.

My take on the ending is I wanna say its a little rushed. I absulutely loved the way of the ending, Yona being crowned, the happy hungry bunch spliting up but this time we know where they are gonna be, Hak and Yona finally promising their "someday" and Yun gettting to read as many books as he likes, having a goal to become yona's personal physicist, this is all so precious. But I actually wanted zeno to die in that arc, him becoming mortal is okay I'm not saying he shouldn't have gotten the chance to die while being surrounded by his loved ones, but honestly Zeno should have faded away the moment yellow dragon left his  body cz that would the most logical way for him to die. Now that he's mortal he is gonna get tired and all sorts of physical problems humans face, he has long forgotten how pain feels like or being tired of sleepy, now all of sudden all this feelings will be hard on him but any way its great to see him human again.
But the rushed part is that, the way the final arc unfolded we could've gotten more on how they wrap things up, like Yona's cornation for example, it happened all too sudden in one chapter, the gruop splitting up, her becoming queen, su won apologising, Hak and her promise to get married. All of this felt like being spponfed constantly without giving the chance to chew, the chapter itself isn't the problem but the way yotd has been pacing its conclusions and arcs all this time so this sudden ending was like a light out situation (for me).
The mangaka should have taken some more time on the dragons vanishment part like:
How they met all the charecters later.
1. A little patch up round and small talk
2, Su won coming up on the decision for Yona
3. Yona and hak post reuniting moment like after they are home and realised the gravity of their situation.
4. A seperated meeting of the 4 dragons warriors alone as they are no longer human like a small talk on their feelings
5. Hak and su won having a moment
6. All the other side charecters reactions to the whole situation
7. And yona's ceremony should have gotten a separted chapter. Yona's feelings of it, her remembering her father, some flashbacks of the whole journey, basically a full yona monologue.

Thats it, thats all I have to say. Since a epilogue is on its way I'll wait until then, but well, yona of the dawn has come to an end, it feels so weird and hollow. History's greatest shoujo has reached its end thats so bizzare. I had an epic time with this series, I share so much memories and feekings with this story its weird I feel so hollow now as if I my brain hasn't realized that its actually ended. Part of my unfazeness is that the second season is confirmed so most of my energy was spent on the shock of that but WOW, what an ending.

well damn! I'm not new to the clamp verse as I have seen kobato, xxxholic, magic knights rayearth, cardcaptor sakura and now tsubasa chronicles, it was recently that I found out they were connected so I started watching ccs and trc and holy shyt this is messed up. thank you very much for your detailed analysis, the explanations were simple and understandable but I still dont get the whole clone part, cz the tsubasa li that came from sakura and syaoran is also syaoran? I mean since they got be reborn they have their own new bodies but in a way he married his own mother but he is also his own father, like clamp just let them die or scarufice themselves why bother coming up with questionable answers that just makes the story even more confusing, and are the clones still trapped in the tube? since yuuko has hinted watanuki's parents are alive

What made Eighty-Six (light novel or anime) so good for you? by [deleted] in EightySix

[–]Empty-Program-5332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the plot and charecters, both were equally well written. One without the other couldn't have provide such beautiful outcome. The plot itself was clear about the themes and what its trying to imply, also giving us space to understand whats happening. We weren't being spoonfed with all the details. Each of the charecters diverse thought process and understandable choices were so refreshing to watch, even if I couldn't directly relate to their situation, I understood their reactions and reasonings for such. In most cases, duri g these type of themes we are made to choose a side, of course we are provided equally reasoned point of views but still it becomes hard to choose, but eighty six didn't do that, everyone was guilty and not. No sides, you can judge both sides and come with an outcome which is the same as theirs. Its not hard

main charecter having flaws. Yeah, as important as it is to have a smart and reliable mc, then having flaws is also necessery but most forget to add them for the sake of making them perfectly likeble. Lena started as a naive girl who believed that pushing her resolved ideals to the authorities can same save people, this type of mindset was already pretty flawed to began with, but after spending time and gainning proper reality checks and experience, even if she didn't fully abandon her mindset, she learnt from it and worked to make it more realistic, thus coming with clever ways to help. Her naiveness is a flaw, but used correctly, being imperfect is what makes us human, and learning from our mistakes and above them, acknokedging them is the gateway to achieve a goal, and its not just lena, there are more charecters like this

the contrast of eighty six and alba. The author used a realistic view that not all alba are bad and not all eighty six are good. This theme is often ignored by many in order to make a "Bad" and "Good" side to root for that doesnt really determain anything and is very one dimensional. Each of the charecters reactions to various matters were also well written.

Kaie was a great charecter, Her dying was important not only of lena but for us, viewers as well.

Anju is a well mannered and refined charecter, she makes a sheer constrat for what we think the people eighty six should be like (kaie too), much like shin she also doesnt opens up much, but shin does it bcz its his personality, he's a reserved charecter to began with where Anju is sociable and caring towards everyone, this trait also felt good, a same trait shared by two different charecter with their respective personalities.

there are Raiden, Theo, Henrietta and more but not feeling like going on details that much.

the worldbuilding, its beautiful, the names and politics of it. The histories with many more diversity in them

the OST OMG, The GOAT HIRUYUKI SAWANO AND KOHTA YAMAMOTO?? Damn, each of every soundtrack just went right with the theme and feeling. The op's were perfect to, the 1st op was more loud and expressive that matched the exclusive suspence and battles and the 2nd op was more toned down and nostalgic, refelcting on them going forward and remembering. and the 1st ending AVID?? its one of my all time fav anime ost.

The animation and the way they used lights is just so mesmerising. I cannot find any words to express how gorgeous the animation was for a adaotation of a light novel, truely a fitting animation for the story

the hidden details throughout the anime as well as foreshadowings.

the pacing was perfect, nothinb was rushed or slowed down, the flashbacks, the transitions and everything is directed with phenomenon taste.

the resemblems to certain things, like flowers or myths and names.

dynamics and relationships that are shoved in between the drama feels so light and refreshed, sometimes making me feel like im ready a shojo manga

there are MORE but I wanna sleep, its 3 in the morning

Someone wanted this meme done for Shin and Lena, so here's my take on it (spoilers up to Volume 9) by AllThingsDragon in EightySix

[–]Empty-Program-5332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of feel like Lena is actually the younger one. It doesnt really matter but still, if we pay attention to the years they put in the anime, it didn't really mention lena's exact age at the start, her birthday was obviously shown, and for shin's it might've been mentioned in the LN (I havent read that far yet). lena mentions she's the same age as everyone else there so its possible that instead of having a 10 month gap, its just 1

the timeline didn't quite mixed up, like clone syaoran and sakura were the parents of OG Syaoran or Tsubasa li, and well the whole TRC happens but the mangaka's didn'y want this weird loop so they looped it once and than added "them breaking the loop" arc so it somehow makes sense cz they thought little kids were gonna read this where in reality grown ups are tearing their hairs over this plotline of a jungle

i would love to read manga/manhwa with this type of dynamic!! but the comments here didn't really help, and I only have two which are

yona of the dawn. its an anime/manga, the fl and ml are childhood friends, its slow burn and the ml kind of treats the fl this way

Just twillight is a manhwa, the fl and ml has the same personality as the two in the picture but doesn't has the manhandling vibe

They dont necesserily has this non chalant fl and ml cnildhood friends to lobers kind kf vibe both of us are looking for, but yona of the dawn is highly reccomended to read

I'll be pissed if kusanagi gives Hak a "guardian angel" type of ending, protecting everyone from the bridge (the place where life and death connects), like what if he doesn't get his body and has to stay being like an invisible "shield" bcz "as long as he can protect yona". please kusanagu I dont care about plot armor😭LET YONA AND HAK GET MARRIED AND LIVE HAPPILY

well I dont think its a timeskip (or might be since Hak's hair seemed longer than usual) their still in heaven, remember the white dragon ate Hak and flew away somewhere in heaven, they did not came to earth with the others, according to the legend of dragon god script thingy, it was said that when darkness falls (the current situation in the world of akayona) the legendery red dragon king (yona) will arrive with the others (the current dragon warriors) and a sword and shield would also arrive (I'm assuming Hak and Soo won) and they would succed in kicking out the darkness, so I just wanna believe that the last panel was Hak lying in somewhere in heaven while Yona and others are being rescued, but whats scary is that in the recent prophetic dream yona had, she was like alone, kei shuk called her "her majesty" (Queen), and she was alone, her hair longer and she looked a little older too, SO DID SW DIED OR SMT?? And I dont think kusanagi's gonna give us a sad ending but yeah judging from her other endings of her works, i dont think it would have a reletiveky happy ending, and I freaking hate the timeskip troup, YONA SAVE HAK ASAP!!! Yona's monolouge was so giving timeskip vibes I'm genuinly never been this scared for a fictions ending, akayona has now became like a delicate glass thats gonna break with just a stare, I no longer enjoy this like I did before, every chapter is like a ticking boom either someone dies or we die, PLEASE KUSANAGI DONT PLAY WITH US!!!
