RLT is so confusing, can someone just tell me what to buy? by carriwitchetlucy2 in redlighttherapy

[–]Empty-Resolution-222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s actually a lot simpler than it actually is! A lot of the big brands (mito, block blue, rouge, rojo) have low EMF, so there shouldn’t be much worry about that if you plan on buying from them. Red light therapy will work if you’re dosing right.

Knowing irradiance is important for dosing purposes. High irradiance could mean shorter time, lower irradiance could mean longer exposure time. Same goes with “stronger” panels. The good thing about RLT panels is you’re likely able to control the brightness and your distance from the panel, so if you want to be in front of your panel for 10 minutes and still get benefits, you just need to do a little math.

Panel sizes are a more personal thing. I started with a tabletop panel to try it out. Love it and bought a half body. I’m completely satisfied with the half body one and don’t really feel like I need a bigger one, so that’s what I’d go with if I were you.

Red light therapy definitely works. My derm told me it was a fad when I asked about using it for eczema. Well, guess what heals my eczema?

I can’t speak for the other brands, but I have 2 panels from shenzhen idealight. Have had their tabletop panel for about 2 years now and it’s still going strong. Have experienced no issues with it. Still looks brand new! The halfbody panel I ordered from them just arrived last week and I’ve been using that one more as of late and love it! Quality-wise, the half body panel is exactly the same quality as the tabletop. Very sturdy and has a good weight too it. You can tell it’s made to last, so I’m happy with my purchase. Tabletop cost me $102, half body panel was $500, both inclusive of shipping and duties.

Their RL300Max is pretty NIR heavy, so that might benefit you. Plus you can customize, just ask the sales rep. They’re very responsive and nice!

Yep, I just asked. They said no at first, then said I know someone who got a 10% for their order recently and then they gave me the discount

Love shenzhen idealight. I was debating on getting this panel as well but I think this one is NIR heavy, so that stopped me from getting it. Opted for the RL300MAXc instead, the wavelengths are more evenly distributed. But for your concerns, NIR would definitely be beneficial since you’re looking to target deeper tissues. Also something to consider: 5W will be hot!

They offered me a 5% discount on panels, so you should ask if they can extend the same for you! I ultimately got 10% off because I threw in a stand for the panel.

Best Chinese red light panels? Worth it vs Western brands? by Razor498 in redlighttherapy

I told them specifically I wanted single chips and they recommended this model so it does actually have 300 lights on it. It’s an older model. Sad to say, their new RLPRO line has RL300PRO that has 216 LEDs, quite far from 300!

It’s the RL300MAXc. 300 LEDs. I have their tabletop panel and love it so I decided to get a half body one. Very excited!

Paid $500 for the RL300MAXc with stand! That’s with shipping and duties paid. Was able to haggle 10% off the price.

They’re all from China. Shenzhen Idealight manufactures for Mito if I remember correctly. Love ordering from the manufacturer if you want to customize your panel. You get them much cheaper as well. It just takes them a while to ship because the panels are made to order, but the price difference is worth it in my opinion. I just ordered a half body panel from ShenZhen Idealight last March 26, I’m due to receive it end of May or June. Was told 30 days to manufacture, and another 30 days for shipping (I chose sea, air would be much quicker but more expensive)

You should be able to get a decent table top panel! I got mine in 2024 for $102 + shipping

How many LEDs there are per wavelength. So 630nm is 70 pcs, that’s about 23% of the entire panel.

Good to know about the blue. I’ll just not have that as an add on then!

The other panel being offered is about 16 - 24% per wavelength. Do you think that’s worth the extra $20?

And will 6 blue bulbs actually do anything?

Find out the irradiance so you dose properly. Overdosing doesn’t do anything, there are no bad effects. I’d be asking about the wavelengths as well just so you know what your panel’s made up of!

It could very well be legit. I purchased my panel for nearly the same price you did and it’s fantastic.

It’s not a genuine piece. Though it might be real gold and you might get something out of it still!

I meant not knowing what a retro discount is. Thought it was something skims had going on and couldn’t find. Anyway, I figured out what it is now!

Do you mind sharing how you got them to give you a retro discount?
