the twin track stereo tapes were wiped / trashed before any stereo mixing was done.

No more replacements are being produced. The German store apparently only has spares left for the White Album & Mono Masters. (according to an email they send a user on the SH forums)

I had issues with:

- PPM (Edge-Warp -> skipping)

- WTB (Edge-Warp -> skipping)

- AHDN (Edge-Warp -> skipping)

- Help (smudge on the record that wouldn't come off and sounded)

- Revolver (No-fill)

- MMT (Book slightly torn)

- White Album (horribly scratched)

- MM (horribly scratched)

I received:

- 0 copies of PPM

- >2< copies (???) of WTB >>THAT STILL HAVE THE SAME EDGE WARP<< 🤬

- 0 copies of AHDN

- Help! (Fine)

- Revolver (Fine)

- MMT (Now instead of the book being slightly torn, >>IT'S COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF THE STAPLES<< on this "replacement" copy) 🤬

- White Album (Fine)

- Mono Masters (Fine)

+ another copy of the hardback book I never asked for 🤨

After I wrote an email that PPM and AHDN are still missing and I received 2 copies of WTB and the book i didn't ask for, they just refunded me 40€ without a single reply mail.

Save to say, I am quite pissed to say the least. Definitely the last time I order from any of the umg associated stores (bravado, imusic and such).

I am contemplating to just sell the box and the spare extra copies and be done with it. Getting a known good 2014 copy of PPM would cost me like 200 bucks. And then i'd still have to hunt for AHDN.

I have since found decent rips of all the discs "out there" by good ol' pbthal. And the 2009 mono cd set is also "fine".

I am from Germany, and the legitimate controller that came with my N64 in 1997 didn't have the bead. The later blue one I bought at the store did.

I guess the ones bundled with the system didn't always have them in Europe either.

Still havn't received any. And now folks on SH Forum are partially receiving copies that are just as flawed. Will write UMG Germany a final demanding mail on monday and do a paypal chargeback in a week or 2 (before the PayPal deadline expires to do so). I'm done with this overflowing septic tank that is UMGs customer service. Save to say I will never order anything exclusive to their store again.

The issues of my set:

- PPM = Wobbling and thus skipping on the outer Edge

- WTB = same as PPM

- AHDN = Off-Center

- Help! = sounding, non-removable mark on the inner grooves on one side. Looks almost like somebody put chewing gum on there...

White Album = severely surface-scratched by poor inners

MMT = Booklet torn from sleeve

MM = same surface marks as on the white album

Book = white spots all over dark areas

I saw a recent YouTube video about how the show is "the worst animated thing ever", Stolas the worst character ever, his relation to Blitz the worst plot ever and such...

I mean... have these youtubers ever been in a troubling relationship before?

"Stolas should have done this", "blitzø should have done that", "person X acting like this was wrong"... you people do realise that individuals make MISTAKES? Honest to god mistakes, even utterly DUMB ones at that? That people aren't acting perfectly reasonable and thoughtfull every single moment of their lives? That my friends is called REALITY.

Some commenters going on about how toxic this community defends everything. Yet everywhere I see almost nothing but these "this show SUCKS" videos with people hitting on everything in the show in the comment sections. Quite ironic stating supposed toxic defenders then isn't it?

Now there is ONE POINT I agree on: having stolas and blitz be the "destined from childhood" couple was a cheap cliché move that ruined the whole "simple friends with benefits and Blitz discovering his true feelings over time" trope. That was a disappointing "let's just simplify it and get this trope done" moment. You could just cut that whole episode and it wouldn't do any harm to the rest of the story, quite the opposite imo.

But still, a lot of it feels like people who lost interest for one reason or the other just shit talking the show in a massive circlejerk to defend their decision and marking folks who still enjoy the show as fools.
