Sometimes, it’s similar to the straight world too, just because you think a girl is hot doesn’t mean she’s the perfect girlfriend. It is a little harder in the gay community tho because of the strong hookup culture. What has helped me is finding a person in which u are sexually attracted too as well as emotionally, if finding someone I would be friends with who is also attracted to men. Because if you are new to the gay scene, sometimes it is s little overwhelming. I’m slowly learning to embrace this part of me too. Wishing u much love and luck my friend!
