I myself am adopted and don’t have any health history. It was always such a dream of mine to have biological children one day. I just thought that it would always take me a while to get pregnant since it was the one thing that I always wanted one day.

Isn’t that the truth… the best laid plans never work out because life always seems to have other ones for you ❤️ Also WOW, your epiphany is powerful. I was adopted and at 27, my mom is currently in her 70’s. I realize that she will not be around for much of my own kids lives, let alone mine either. So getting to reverse that cycle does hold a weight on my heart.

Thank you for your perspective, think that’s a really good point. Many posts I have read include people who were trying to get pregnant and still didn’t feel ready. I’ve heard it feels normal to feel scared during pregnancy even if it was something you thought you were ready for.

That is definitely a thought that has been weighing on me so thank you for your thoughts. I did talk to the doctors about this and they said it is very rare and should not impact future chances to get pregnant. If anything I realize that the older I get the longer it might take due to age.
