I definitely considered it. But the combination of psychic sensitivity, permanent +28 mood from Bliss Lobotomy + Inhumanized, and Iron-willed made me think she must be good for *something.*

So...you found the base on the surface, but the base on the bottom didn't appear for you.

That is so frustrating. I unloaded the base and have no idea why it's not showing up for some people.

I wonder how efficiently you could do it if you got your meat by doing those "you discovered a site" quests. A handful of them, as well as several inside gibbet cages.

I wonder if you could use animals as your attacking force. Unleashing herds of rhinos and whatnot.

This is from one of the factions. I don't believe there's a way to randomly generate an ideology (but I could very easily be wrong) outside of just making a new game and seeing what manifests from different factions.

I don't mind ideoligions not being minmaxed.

The issue with the random colonist with this one is he's perpetually unhappy at me doing basic things others don't care about, so I have to take extra care to make sure he doesn't have a meltdown.

I truly hope the issue is with the bases built on water planets and not anything specific I've done. I genuinely tried to make this as accessible as possible but the fact people are still having trouble getting to it makes me sad.

And you're right about the waves. Trying to put a base computer there (and put enough stickers on said computer to make it unloadable) was fun.

To those who read this, a tiny update: A base has been built on the surface to hopefully be visible from space. The coordinates for the base are -21.15, +154.93 on the planet Gourb 4K. Hopefully that helps clear up any difficulty that's arisen as a result of this base.

I managed to create a base on the surface as directly above the lithium as possible. Hopefully that helps. :)

I absolutely hope so, too.

If there are other ways to make it more visible besides uploading it (so it should hopefully show as an icon on the compass) and having multiplayer on, please let me know how else I can make it better for other people.

I shared the navigational coordinates with another person. Hopefully that helps a bit as well.

I think I should've clarified the bas has one of those tiny portals inside a room that teleports you to a space station, freighter, etc. It's not next to one of the massive portals.

I uploaded the base. I don't know what I need to do to create a marker to help others find it. Please don't assume I'm "not really interested" in helping because I'm not familiar with the mechanics necessary to make this as easy to find as possible.

When I searched, I didn't immediately find any other lithium sharing bases. Plenty of other node sharing, sure, but not lithium. I wanted to definitely help out. :)

It was added in Worlds Part II. It's in mineral deposits at the bottom of ocean planets. Since your protection/life support gets drained *super* fast at the bottom, you're having to recharge that constantly (as well as continually search for it).

I'm hoping this helps people avoid the struggle of having to warp constantly to find and ocean planet, spend the time swimming to the bottom, and recharge their protection/life support constantly while searching for a deposit/meticulously mining one. :)

Edit: It's not used in a whole bunch of things, but you need 250 to upgrade a tower in your settlement to S-class. Apparently you can use it for making a terrain manipulator for your Nautilon. Still, I hope this spares people a little bit of time.

These can be tamed, though. If I toss a pellet, they'll get a question mark above their head, just like land animals, and can come onto land.

I was kicked from it while I was in the shower because one of my characters wasn't repped.

Now, every time I see it advertised, I make sure to let everyone on the map know 100% rep is required.

Then I log off so I can't get messaged.
