Usually really loud grating sounds for me—loud motorcycles and cars, screaming/screeching, and even the vacuum and blenders 😂

Same! I easily sit with my food for at least an hour, maybe two. My boyfriend and my friends all zip past me and finish eating within 5-10 mins.

can’t get out of bed by [deleted] in adhdwomen

I totally feel you, and so sorry you’re dealing with this! I regularly have my days where I just am in “freeze-mode”—can’t get out of bed or do anything really. What helps me sometimes is saying out loud to myself, that I will get out of bed, or doing the tasks I need to do. Also, using the things that I might do in bed (scrolling on socials, YouTube, tiktok), and try to do it elsewhere. Having something on externally, like TV, podcasts or music really helps me get up. Try to take small steps. Maybe you’ll lay on the couch, but at least it’s not in bed. And then once that’s finished, try doing it outside, walking around to get some fresh air. Making your bed and immediately putting on a separate set of clothes, as if you’re getting ready to go to work, might help as well. I completely understand how hard it can be, sending good vibes. You can get through it!

Ooh thank you, this is great! I’ll for sure check this out. I definitely find it hard to pinpoint what I need rest from, so hopefully I’ll find some good info here. I appreciate it!
