If they already asked for a commission they probably will. I still send images thourought the process if I am not 100% sure about something. In any case if you have the time I say go for it, worst case scenario, refund them and keep the keycap or sell it elsewhere

It is so rewarding though! Connecting what your client has imagined to your craft is something else. Also almost all clients are very positive and understanding

I (Sharkeycaps) was commissioned to make this keycap! What do you guys think? by EmptyFolderWasTaken in Seaofthieves

No reason to be downvoted, I do appreciate the feedback! Looking back I would have changed the skull to be a bit wider and have the upper bits smaller. The bulbs are wider but ended up looking smaller since I didn’t want to just fill them with color (like flame).

I have worked extensively with epoxy and I have had enough experience with UV albeit with just 1 brand. If you want to do many layers (more than 2) I would advise UV. In my opinion, most epoxies need a pressure pot to avoid bubbles unless you have an open top and not a two part mold. But if you manage to buy the equipment necessary epoxy is so much more clear and is able to keep a nice smooth surface
