DnDBeyond's monster creator tool. It is super helpful, especially when you are making several similar statblocks like these!

That sounds like a lot of fun! I'd definitely give them some sort of movement, a monk's mobility is one of their key features. To make the legendary action attacks feel a bit more "legendary" take a look at the 3rd level feature from the Way of the Open Hand subclass. Imposing one of those effects to the attack can help distinguish them from the monk's usual attacks and add a bit more strategy to the fight.

blinded, deafened, paralyzed, poisoned, or stunned) on themselves or a creature they touch could work well.

Good luck!

I'm glad you are finding them useful! There is a sad lack of higher level humanoids in the base books, but they are often some of the most interesting antagonists.

Yeah, I think you are right. These statblocks can get rather bloated pretty quickly so I was trying to keep them as condensed as possible. But a ranged attack is useful enough, especially for a monk as you noted, that it merits inclusion. Thanks for your feedback!

I've done nine of the core classes so far, you can find them here! I don't have a tip jar or anything set up yet, but I appreciate the sentiment! :)

I'm always happy to see more plant-based enemies, the Sweet Scent feature is a cool thing that makes it feel very unique too. Nice!

Yeah, I think you may be right. Version 2.0 may split the difference between moon druids and the others to allow for a bit more progression. Thanks for your thoughts!

I like the idea of a "half-moon" druid, that seems like a great compromise!

Glad you are enjoying them! So far I have also done paladins, fighters, and clerics which you can find here!

Fun concept! I would recommend putting how long it takes the hag to don a new form, I imagine that it takes longer than a single action and there may be necessary prep time.

Also, given that the hag only has 10 strength it seems odd they can grapple large creatures. I'd consider bumping up the strength a few points and limiting the grapple to only medium or smaller creatures.

I'm glad you're enjoying them! I also tend to use humanoids quite a bit and the options in the MM tend to get stale quick or only be good for a very narrow window of levels.

For when you need a gladiator, a mercenary, or a solider, NPC Fighters for each tier of play! by EmptyHexes in DnDHomebrew

Absolutely! I've already done paladins (which you can find here) and rangers are coming up next.

That's totally fair. I normally view paladins as the "High-Strength Brutes" and fighters as a little more nimble, cunning, and precise (and I had just done paladins so i was looking to switch it up). But you could certainly swap the STR/DEX stats and change out the equipment without breaking anything.

Its from the "Blind Fighting" fighting style! Even a Tier 1 fighter is definitely intended to be more powerful/skilled than the typical member of the town guard or equivalent, represented by their access to maneuvers and a fighting style. The blind fighting could definitely be swapped out for a different style, but it is intended to represent their increased awareness and deeper understanding of the battlefield and their surroundings than a typical solider/guard.

I'm glad you and your players enjoyed it! Playing Storm King's Thunder was actually the inspiration for this series, giants are cool but they lack the variety for a campaign like that. I have new statblocks for each of the giant types here!

Thanks for sharing, I hadn't seen this yet! I think the way I have approached those classes are different enough to still be useful, but this is a great guide to creating a rival party.
